Business Development Manager Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
• Proven sales track record
• Experience in customer support is a plus

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Project manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the projects.
• To support Site Project Manager in managing day-to-day clients’ interactions and expectations for optimal results
• To support Site Project Manager to collaborate with peers, liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
• To prepare and submit method of statement, sketches, site record and other technical submissions in a timely manner.
• To prepare Inspection and Test Plan, user manuals, drawings and conduct inspection and check on works performed.
• Check the drawings discrepancies and conduct field verification, and submit technical clarification to the clients and consultants.
• Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by the site team in a timely manner.
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports and presentation to management, clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure that works carried out are in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
• Perform any other tasks as and when required so as to meet project milestones

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Higher Nitec in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant with at least 3 years working experience
• Hands-on experience in security systems such as Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV systems is a must
• Hands-on experience in security system configuration, System Networking and integration with third-party systems will be an advantage
• Willing to take ownership and Pro-active in Problem solving
• Must be a team player and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service and business orientated with good initiative and adaptability
• Required to perform standby duties whenever required
• Driving License – Preferably if candidate possesses its own vehicle

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure RFQ is managed properly, work closely with Sales team, co-ordinate other IT teams to complete the RFQ.
2. Work with the Sales team and product team to propose necessary solutions as per RFQ requirements.
3. Handhold sales, solutions and project implementation team once project is awarded and manage escalations.
4. Ensure that projects are executed based on the project plan to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, duration and quality
5. Analyze the requirements, scope the problem and develop business cases to address the problem
6. Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions that best fit the project’s needs.
7. Work with our customers’ line units to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of solution
8. Develop project schedule and activities based on appropriate project implementation methodology
9. Identify potential project risks and their implications to the organization and recommend mitigating measures to manage the risks and to provide reasonable assurance to the organization
10. Establish the appropriate project organization structure and define the change management and communication plan to engage and set expectations of stakeholders
11. Engage and manage the Internal/ External Service Provider(s) (who supplies the people, processes, tools and methodologies) to deliver ICT solutions and services.
12. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes and procedures and system are designed to comply with policies and guidelines
13. Communicate and present to senior decision makers, stakeholders and management forums on project progress and issues with respect to business objectives
14. Perform other jobs related duties as and when requested by superior.

Job Description:

• Ensure all architectural works are carried out as per approved architectural drawings and specifications and all interface details with SWCs works are carried out as per CCSM and Reflected Ceiling Plans.
• Plan, manage and maintain the BIM data in compliance with project requirements
• Create and maintain the project template files to ensure standards
• Coordinate with other departments and engineers to manage and resolve clashes
• Assist the project manager to plan, organize, implement, coordinate and control the construction of architectural works and completed within scheduled time
• Coordinated, monitored and liaise with sub-contractors' progress
• Prepare Transmittal on drawings for submission or issuance to sub-contractors
• Review and revise the current revision status
• Compiling of As-built drawing upon project completion
• Minor coordination of Architectural / Structural / M&E drawings
• Plan and monitored of full process from sample submission to approval status up to construction period.
• Detailing and documentation of working drawing, material estimation and submissions
• Check on-site to ensure that architectural works are carried out according to the construction drawings
• Any other duties assigned

Job Requirement:

• Preferably with a Degree in Architectural.
• Minimum 5 years of experience after tertiary education in a relevant architectural field in the construction supervision of architectural works for projects of similar scale and complexity in context.
• Having experience in the A&A would be a bonus and advantageous.
• Have experience working with main contractors
• Willing to work in the site office.

• Lead the team in executing electrical work during the construction phase, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, etc.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Manage a team comprising supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
• Responsible for electrical interfaces with the operational team, conducting meetings, and providing technical clarifications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze and enhance equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors.
• Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments, meeting BCA requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs.
• Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
• Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard.
• Liaising with staff at every level.
