Undertake a variety of projects, managing scope, cost, time, risk, resources, procurements, quality and communications in accordance with company policies, processes and procedures, whilst adhering to client contractual obligations. Regular client liaison will take place, managing expectations, and ensuring appropriate stakeholder satisfaction is apparent via pro-active management of project scope ensuring all milestones are met.

· Ensuring all assigned projects are administered in accordance with company’s Quality Management System and to agreed contractual obligations.

· Implementing projects according to contract terms, project goals and objectives, in a pro-active manner, including regular interface with all stakeholders such as clients, certifying authorities, contractors/suppliers and staff/personnel as necessary.

· Ensuring project definition is apparent, clarifying scope, estimates and assumptions with sales team during project handovers.

· Ensuring all appropriate projects are kicked off, their meetings are effective, congruent with the project scope and set the tone for success.

· Attendance to client meetings regarding appropriate project matters as and when required.

· Preparation of project plans in a timely manner.

· Creating and updating project schedules, ensuring critical path activities are understood and communicated.

· Ensuring project procurements are considered in terms of cost, time and quality.

· Understanding project commercial drivers and costs, controlling activities to limit adverse impact upon project finances.

· Preparation of documentation packs for workshop activities to enable efficient product realisation and mobilisation within time demands of the project, ensuring appropriate reviews take place with necessary personnel.

· Preparation of documentation packs for worksite execution (On/Offshore) ensuring appropriate reviews take place with necessary personnel including pre- and post-briefings.

· Ensuring the Design Engineering department is appraised of the project scope such that all engineering activities and calculations are carried out to verify the suitability of equipment

· Where contractually obliged, attendance offshore to assure project execution and fulfilment.

About the Role

We offer two internship commitment periods: March to July and July to December. You can select the one that fits your academic or personal schedule. As a Marketing And Business Development Intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Sales and Communication in engaging our employees and stakeholders through our digital channels and marketing events. This position provides you with a unique opportunity to gain exposure to SEO learning, Website designing and understanding backend marketing.

As part of the internship, you will acquire marketing skills and technical knowledge of various strategies to prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

• Work closely with designers to maintain our website
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
• Measure, analyse and report the results of marketing initiatives, social media and website.

SEO Learning:

• Learn and apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to enhance the visibility of our content.
• Stay updated on SEO best practices and trends to contribute to the overall improvement of our online presence.

Website Design:

• Take ownership of the design process for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the web reflects current IT solutions, is user-friendly, and effectively supports client demonstrations.

Content Creation:

• Write engaging and informative articles for clients, focusing on diverse topics related to our products and services.
• Develop content that aligns with marketing strategies and effectively communicates the value proposition to the target audience.

Ad-hoc Tasks:

• Assist in various marketing and eCommerce-related tasks as needed.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team.

Optional: Coding Knowledge

• Apply coding skills to enhance the functionality and appearance of web designing
• Collaborate with developers and contribute to the technical aspects of the online platform.

Optional: Sales and Client Relations

• If the right aptitude is demonstrated, there is an opportunity to take on client relations and sales responsibilities.
• Engage with clients, understand their needs, and assist in proposing suitable IT solutions.
• Contribute to sales activities and work towards converting leads into clients, commissions will be given accordingly.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Polytechnic, A Levels, or University education.
• Must be able to commit up to 10 to 24 weeks.
• Strong written communication skills with a keen interest in content creation.
• Eagerness to learn and apply SEO techniques.
• Optional: Coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Director (PD) in project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Lead and mentor the project team by setting guidelines, providing advice, and supervising as needed.
• Oversee all project management activities from planning and coordination to completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Assist PD in compiling project progress reports (e.g., Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates).
• Monitor the project schedule and manage daily operations, setting short- and long-term goals, coordinating with other contractors.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure contract compliance and adherence to completion timelines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, attending regular meetings to ensure project progress.
• Supervise site labor and subcontractors, resolving construction issues as they arise.
• Oversee quality control, safety, and EHS practices on-site, identifying high-risk activities before construction and approving Method Statements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in LTA, roadworks, MRT, and viaduct projects.
