· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

· Planning & execution of all new and retrofit projects related to utilities & facilities.

· Ensuring the best available technologies are incorporated by design.

· Techno commercial evaluations of consultants, vendors, and contractors.

· Delivering the project within the budget and timeline approved.

· Responsible for relevant project costing and annual budget preparation related to engineering, facilities and EHS.

· Coordinating with statutory authorities for relevant approvals.

· Complying with operational and personnel standards, regulatory and statutory requirement to ensure efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.

· Ensure smooth handing over of the project to end-users, coordinate and ensure deliverables as per plan.

· Ensure the site's facilities are kept to the highest standards for cGMP requirements, including Purified water system, WFI System, HVAC system, EMS, BMS, Boilers, fire safety, security, pest control, cleaning services and waste removal.

· Responsible for development SOPs and quality standard for site with following of site QMS procedures.

· Ensure to meet the required regulatory requirements (e.g. HSA, FDA etc.) and keep the site audit ready for all the time.

· Responsible for managing a team of vendors / contractors.

· To assist on any ah-hoc duties that have been assigned / task by the immediate Superior

Education:

· Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. SCEM, Water efficiency Manager will be an added advantage.

· Project management certification: PMP or PRINCE2

Experience:

· Proficient / experienced in the Microsoft project software and project tracking.

· Proficient / experienced in AutoCAD.

· 3~5 years of experience in the green field / brown field area project management.

· Capability handles the pharma project from USD 2-5 million.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Good investigation and report writing skills.

· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.(GMP, PICs)

We are looking for a project officer to work on the project titled "Optical Innovations in Stereochemistry: Developing Diverse Optical Strategies for Enantiomer Separation”. The project officer will be working on the development of various optical modalities that will enable the separation and detection of enantiomers. The position requires knowledge in stereochemistry, enantiomers, micro-fluidics, free-space optics and integrated optics.

Key Responsibilities:

• The identification of socially important enantiomers for separation and detection (i.e. Thalidomide).
• Develop chiral optical devices and systems necessary that selectively imparts energy to the desired enantiomer.
• Implement hybrid micro-fluidic/optical flow systems.
• Develop test setups for micro-fluidic/optical test setups.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of photonics devices, and systems.
• Ability to publish in academic journals, and present in conferences.
• Ability to work well in a team, and collaborate with other research groups.
