• Identify Plating Industry business and market trends, new development, financial to meet business KPI.
• Utilize data analytics and conduct thorough market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop and implement effective accounting management in fixed and variable cost, investment and budgeting strategies to support the company's financial goals.
• Establish mid & long-term business strategy based on financial data and business forecasting including budget preparation and kick-off meeting presentation.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to aid decision-making.
• Manage monthly expenses/marginal profit and business profit results to enhance organizational effectiveness and transform it into actionable insights and result oriented.
• Provide regular updates on business performance against targets, expert advice and guidance to the Plating's top management team & Japan HQ management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with the overall business strategy
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• 10 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team.
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities to align financial strategies with business objectives
• Proficient in the use of accounting system, Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Collaborate with the internal multidisciplinary team based globally to oversee and supervise the planning and successful delivery of the project
• Provides leadership to project management. Lead entire life cycle of system implementation projects in both waterfall and agile methods
• Responsible for delivering excellent customer experience to clients as the main point of contact and go-to person for SWAT Mobility
• Capable of managing day-to-day operational aspects of an entire project lifecycle
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to provision development and deployment activities
• Manages the progress of the project and ensures quality, maintaining of baseline scope, time, cost and requirements

Resource management

• Ensure SWAT services run smoothly and meet KPIs, including closely tracking driver, vendor, customer support and transport operations
• Manage key stakeholder relationships with clients, participating companies, bus operators and other partners
• Continuously streamlines project management practices and improves both the efficiency of project rollout as well as the success of ongoing Business-As-Usual projects
• Propose and implement new process improvements, analytics and measurable KPIs to continuously enhance SWAT’s customer service and operations
• Provide first line service support for partners, passengers, drivers and operators including managing any in-app queries they might have
• Create and setup service sessions on SWAT’s operation interface
• Project related operations, training and testing related tasks as required
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned on a day to day basis
• Fast to pick up product knowledge and parameters. SWAT’s product is very flexible, having good product knowledge is key to providing creative and excellent solutions to our customers
• Review and understand existing queries to improve results as needed
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate various workflows and improve project rollout efficiency

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of customer facing / engineering experience for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Experience or education in project management would be an advantage
• Good communication skills, and strong stakeholder management abilities. Confident to liaise with senior customer stakeholders right down to giving training to end users who might not be tech-savvy
• Proficient in both English and a second language is preferred
• Proficiency or able to learn related software tools quickly (Microsoft office, JIRA, Notion,Google Gsuite etc)
