The Incumbent will be responsible for the implementation, design, installation and maintenance of Security & Fire System. The incumbent should also be skilled in his technical knowledge in leading a team and installing the system in accordance to the specifications.
· Responsible in leading a group of workers and contractors in the installation of the Fire Alarm System (addressable) Access Control System, Public Address System, Close Circuit Television and other supporting features like barriers and etc.
· Competent in leading and providing expertise throughout all phases of the project, including ensure accurate execution throughout all phases of the project and managing co-activities without causing any delay to the project and resulting in additional resources to be added.
· Be responsible in procuring the materials and equipment referencing with site drawings and specifications.
· Have experienced working closely with design engineers, client and contractors in scoping the task in accordance to the local codes of practices.
· Working closely with the Qualified Personnel (QP) to ensure design are in accordance to the local Fire Codes and meeting the local Fire Safety Bureau minimum expectations.
· Regularly holding briefings and scheduled meetings to address the critical coordination and timely execution of the works which involves several co-activities occurring at the same time.
· Maintaining a Safe and Healthy work force at all times to ensure the team is in compliant with the in-house rules and following the required procedures and not negotiating quality and safety in the high-stressful environment where is schedule is critical.
· Constantly keeping the P&ID updated to reflect the current as-built.
· Carry out Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of the various system in accordance to the cause-and-effect matrix that has been designed and approved by the regulatory agency.
· Have performed and executed test and commissioning tasks in accordance to the test plan and procedures drawn up by the client. Record all tests including the flaws that surface and report any defects or deviations from the specification with the design engineer.
· Carry out trouble shooting and fault finding for defects related to electronic equipment malfunction, wiring error and crimping error, etc.

· Rectification works are carried out soonest to address the issues and re-test is carried out to make sure the equipment and system is put back to service and return to owner.
Qualification and Experience
· Possess technical knowledge and understanding of Basic Engineering Design and Construction for Distributed Control System, Direct Digital Controller systems, networking and Building Automation Management systems.
· Have the ability to work independently and carry out an in-depth knowledge of data sheets, instrument drawings, I/O wiring diagrams and calculation were required to substantiate and support the project execution.
· Have had experience working, drafting and developing AutoCAD drawings for the various projects.
· Have led greenfield projects and have more than 5 years of experience in working with regulators, Qualified Personnel and many other agencies.
· Have had worked with several brands for Fire Safety and Security system and have worked closely with system integrator
· Must possess the Construction Course for Project Managers
· Have attended the Building Construction Safety Supervisors
· Possess a Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
