THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Continuity Planning:

• Assist in developing and updating business continuity plans to address potential threats to the organization's operations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to map critical business processes and establish recovery priorities.
• Support audits to ensure plans are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in operations, technology, or staffing.

Risk Assessment:

• Conduct basic risk assessments under guidance, identifying potential vulnerabilities and proposing improvements.
• Prioritize identified risks and draft actionable recommendations for mitigation.

Emergency Response:

• Develop and oversee emergency response protocols and procedures to ensure a swift and effective response to crises.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to conduct regular drills and simulations for emergency scenarios.

Incident Management:

• Be part of the incident management team, contributing ideas and actions to reduce impact during disruptions.
• Support communication efforts to keep stakeholders informed during incidents.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Management, or a related discipline.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THE JOB)

• Minimum 2-3 years in an administrative or operational role, with a focus on BCP preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about learning and willing to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Any internship or project experience in business continuity, risk management, or related areas is a plus.

Working Hours: 60 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in training programs to gain a thorough understanding of F&B operations
• Learn about food preparation, service standards, and overall restaurant management
• Rotate through different departments such as kitchen, front-of-house, and catering to gain a well-rounded experience
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Learn to handle customer feedback and resolve issues
• Assist in daily operations, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
• Work with various teams, such as chefs, servers, and kitchen staff, to understand the dynamics of a restaurant
• Learn about administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements:

• Able to work for long hours including weekends and public holidays

1. Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the outlet, including delivering customer service, conducting sales and maintaining operation excellence.
2. Support corporate marketing events, academic events and enhance our presence on social media platforms.
3. Fast-track to a mid-management position with this 2 years program. A qualified Management Associate is an Outlet Manager within 3 – 6 months time.

Job Requirements

1. Fresh graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university; no prior working experience needed.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and leadership.
3. Initially, work in music school outlet and/or outlet in retail shopping malls, as to gain hard experiences of our business.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. Salary of $3,200 - $3,600 monthly, with the option for 5- or 6-days work per week.
2. 12-15 days of annual leaves with medical benefits and insurance coverage.
