III- Qualifications & Compentencies

The incumbent should possess:-

1- a degree in Engineering is required/preferred.

2- a minimum 3 years of Project Management knowledge, skills, experience.

3- Knowledge and experience in any kind of engineering management, problem solving, strong systematic and analytical thinking skills, strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, working within an ISO 9000 quality environment, strong coaching, influential and negotiation skills.

4- Good English communications and computer competencies.

5- Adaptability, Analytical Thinking, Teamwork, Communications, Listening and Ethics.

6- Experience in LTA projects is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, defining scope, and maintaining project schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reports.
• Act as a point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Promote and enforce safety regulations on the construction site, conduct safety inspections.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage change orders and their impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, maintain contingency plans.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in construction coordination or a related role.
• Class 3 license
• Knowledge of construction processes

Job Responsibilities:

• To manage, review and update detailed building system report (tagging database) and their impact list periodically with customer.
• Able to read, understand and develop basic isometric drawings, P&ID, and PFD drawings with AutoCAD software.
• Work on assigned project tasks independently with engineering team, project owner and sub-contractors/ suppliers.
• Coordinate with lower tier subcontractors & suppliers to meet on-time delivery, optimum cost, quality, and safety performance.
• Preparation of BQ material, work-permit application & documentation/ drawing submittal in accordance to project requirement.
• Assist Project Manager to coordinate, monitor and control in accordance to project execution, schedule, cost, and scope baselines.
• Ensuring Quality standards, and all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to our client & company organization’s policy.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Will be advantages if the candidate has prior working experience in Chemical distribution system, Waste Chemical system, Slurry system for Wafer fabrication. Chemical process piping & chemical equipment installation and Tools install Hookup project related to semiconductor industry.
• Possess technical knowledge of ultrapure piping / tubing component & fittings installation, and cleanroom utilities hook-up construction in Bulk & Specialty Gas, Exhaust, UPW, Drain, etc
• Proficient in AutoCADdrawing.
• Proficient in Microsoft e.g. Excel spreadsheet in data entry and update.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Microelectronics, Semiconductor or Cleanroom Factory Automation environment will be preferred.
• Driven, responsible and matured team player with positive learning & work attitude.
• Good interpersonal, communication (verbal/ written) skills and organizational skills.

Project Management:

1. Assist Project Manager to plan overall schedule and tracking and prioritize job card sequence and methodology according to contractual requirements and onboard vessel/site condition.
2. Lead, manage and supervise project team on the execution of works as well as ensuring the delivery of assigned projects within the planned schedule.
3. Direct and plan sufficient resources of manpower, material, and equipment for the project team for meeting the targets according to contractual requirements.
4. Attend daily vessel coordination meetings with clients and prepare daily reports on progress.
5. Attend or chair meetings with clients, ship crews, vendors, and classifications of society for work scope clarification, permits to work systems compliance, schedule updates, working methodology planning, and any other contractual matters as required.
6. Be responsible for the team's wellbeing during traveling and offshore.
7. Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.

WSH Management:

1. To facilitate the safe execution of works particularly in hot and any other incompatible works according to onboard vessel/site conditions as and when required.
2. Administer and plan for risk management with regards to all works carried out in ensuring best safe work practices are in place.
3. Responsible for the overall safety and health standard of work together with the project manager throughout the execution of projects as assigned.

Contract and Cost Management:

1. Perform as organization representative and be responsible as per contractual requirements throughout project execution duration.
2. Coordinate with the costing department and be alert in overall costing control to ensure maximum profit return to the organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Able to travel overseas, offshore on short notice and on a long-term basis.
2. Able to attend to projects’ needs as and when required.
3. Strong level of planning, organization, people management, and communication skills in critical decision making and quick problem-solving.
4. Good knowledge of different scopes of work in aspects of the hull, mechanical, piping, and electrical for marine and offshore industries shall be advantageous.
5. High level in marine and offshore standards or class requirements on various works.
6. Good computer skills in Microsoft Office and Project.

Project Manager will be under Marine service line, the appropriate quality check, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables.
