As a Business Analyst, you will be working in a Government Agency as a key member of the GovTech project team, comprising the Product/Project Manager, Solution Architect and the Technical Services Consultant (where applicable), to deliver ICT capabilities to realise Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation. You will be responsible for eliciting business needs and analysing business problems in order to scope, define and deploy digital solutions to address the needs of citizens, businesses and/or public officers. You will work with outsourced/co-sourced/insourced development teams to ensure delivery of defined digital solutions. You will advise stakeholders on best practices in use of digital technologies, and work with stakeholders in deploying the digital solutions. You will be working on a range of tasks including the following:

• identify and adopt the appropriate development methodology (e.g. Agile or Waterfall) in an Outsourced, Co-Sourced or In-house development environment

• plan/review/conduct testing and data conversion to ensure that specifications are met

• drive system or product readiness for smooth deployment, adoption and operations

• analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs, and work with support team to understand and address technical problems (Operations & Maintenance phase)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/ Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of working experience for Consultant role

• Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile Methodology

• Proven experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning and design, and testing

Responsibilities

You will part of a dynamic regional feature team supporting the local regulatory reporting functions in the bank, owned by Finance. Key stakeholders you will be interacting with include Finance, Operations, and other IT feature teams. All on a local, regional, and global level.

Role Summary

Main Responsibilities

Work with both internal and external stakeholders to drive rollout and integration of SPACE products for 1 market, across multiple brands.

• Internal Stakeholders consist of overall SPACE Program Manager, Technical Architects, Product Owners, Integration Managers, Business Analysts, Business stakeholders etc. both at local and Zone/Regional level.
• External stakeholders consist of technical vendors who build or maintain the products within SPACE or to be integrated with SPACE.

Project and timeline management – own overall delivery timeline for different phases in the project lifecycle.
