Responsibilities

• Manage the project management processes for engineering and construction related works.
• Manage and /or monitoring project schedules, cost and risk.
• Implement integrated Project Management Information Systems and use of industry standard tools and software platforms for project control.
• Co-ordinate discussions among various project design teams, clients and to achieve project objectives and goals.
• Ensure the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
• Project Reporting (Weekly and Monthly reporting)
• Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed scope of Work across integrated programmes and able to managed across multiple disciplinary.
• Manage a team of Engineers during the design stage.

PM Group Singapore is currently looking to hire a Project Manager to lead and support our client's CAPEX projects. The incumbent will be involved in handling projects within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sectors.

Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities:

• Manage project activities within the project team ensuring project objectives and deliverables are met
• Lead required operational activities for the project in line with the global project objectives defined by the project Core Team Leader
• Ensure close working relationship with the project Core Team Leaders
• Produce and manage the project strategy ensuring agreed objectives can be met
• Monitor activity progress for the project in line with the project objectives, deliverables and timelines and report potential delays including mitigation recommendations
• Provide project reports on a regular basis for effective communication
• Provide support for the operational activities and project phase reviews
• Conduct project reviews with the project team and site management on a regular basis
• Provide support for product costing and financial assessment of the project
• Provide feedback and support for identification of training / development requirements of project team members
• Provide support for the annual budget preparation and project capital
• Monitor project expenses in line with the approved project budget
• Provide support for preparation of monthly Managerial reports
• Ensure smooth transfer of project knowledge and technology from engineering to production
• Ensures all activities, equipment and facilities comply with site cGMP, Health, Safety and Environmental policies
