Role Overview
This role focuses on supply planning, inventory management, master data maintenance, and supporting digital transformation initiatives to ensure efficient operations and optimal service levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Planning & Inventory Management

• Monitor and manage stock levels to meet KPIs, including clearing excess or aged inventory and mitigating future risks.
• Analyze forecasts to calculate reorder quantities and maintain inventory targets (safety stock, replenishment files).
• Ensure timely purchase orders, inbound shipments, and invoice processing while resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with teams on stock allocation, expediting, and freight solutions to meet demand.
• Optimize inventory and service levels through data analysis and improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams on shipment issues and oversee stock counts.

2. Master Data Management

• Set up and maintain SKUs, land costs, and transfer pricing in systems (JDE, Product Cloud).
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory information.

3. S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)

• Participate in demand and supply planning meetings to align promotional plans and inventory needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to prevent overstock and low-stock scenarios.

4. KPI Reporting

• Prepare reports (e.g., sales vs. budget, slow-moving stock, shipping forecasts) and propose SKU rationalization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve KPI adherence and stock management.

5. Digital Transformation & Process Improvement

• Support projects for process optimization, including new tools, system troubleshooting, and KPI reporting enhancements.
• Propose improvements for supply planning and product lifecycle processes.

Key Systems: JDE ERP, Product Cloud, Anaplan, Connect.

This role requires strong collaboration, analytical skills, and a focus on continuous improvement to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Over 3 years of experience in supply chain management, specifically in supply planning and inventory management within a retail setting.
• Highly organized, analytical, self-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle complex tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in critical and logical thinking.
• Technologically savvy with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with stock management or MRP systems; experience with JDE is an advantage.

The Early Mental Potential & Wellbeing Research Centre’s mission is to maximise every child’s mental and emotional capital by uplifting neurodevelopmental trajectories during early sensitive periods through interdisciplinary discovery science and translational technologies.

Toward this aim, we engage in 3 major activities and thrusts:

1) Core Discovery Research, Empowering Science: Basic neuroscience research and advanced computational models to understand individual neurocognitive potential, developmental trajectories, and risk and resilience factors;

2) Translation to Clinic & Pedagogy, Empowering Practitioners: Developing precision assessment and intervention tools to optimise parent-child social and mental health within clinical, education and community settings;

3) Translation to Real-World Technologies, Empowering Families: Creating scalable solutions and real-world technologies for parents to enhance their child’s mental and cognitive wellbeing at home.

We are looking for a Project Officer who will support EMPOWER’s Centre Director, Prof Victoria Leong, in providing assistance and managing administrative and operational aspects of the Centre’s various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist EMPOWER’s Centre Director and project leads in coordinating and managing the Centre’s ongoing projects. This includes tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure they are met on schedule.
• Provide daily administrative support for projects, including coordinating meeting schedules, preparing agendas, and taking minutes to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in following up on outstanding invoices and payments to ensure timely processing.
• Provide support in managing the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process, including tracking submissions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with ethical review procedures.
• Help prepare project reports, presentations, and other documentation for stakeholders as needed.
• Be proactive in learning and using various online tools and project management systems. Assist in setting up and maintaining these systems for tracking and reporting project progress.
• Ensure that all records are stored and organised systematically for easy retrieval when needed or for specific purposes.
• Help coordinate logistics for project-related events, workshops, and meetings.

Job Requirements:

• A strong Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology or IT/Computing (non-exhaustive). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrates experience in project management, ideally with a background in local universities.
• Experience working with local & international collaborators or partners in a research or commercial context.
• Demonstrates strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and a proven track record of keeping accurate records.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with meeting scheduling software (e.g., Outlook, Zoom, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new online systems, tools, and technologies relevant to project management.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
• Experience in project coordination or administrative support in a research and academic setting is a plus.
• Interest in neuroscience or psychology research, and working with children, would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements multiple HRMS projects (small to medium and large projects) simultaneously.
• Ensures that projects meet or exceed expectations by guiding all project activities to include, but not limited to, scheduling, scoping, configuring, testing, training, conducting user acceptance test and maintaining quality control.
• Analyses customer requirements, proposes system design, and prepares system demonstration environment and configuration.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• IT Degree/Diploma or major in Information Technology or related area
• Minimum 1 year working experience HRMS Project Implementation.
• Familiar with Human Resources related processes

• Good knowledge of Singapore statutory leave policy, overtime policy, CPF, SDL, Fund computation is a plus.
• Basic SQL knowledge for the checking data in database.
• Basic Excel functions for the Data Migration/Clean up.
• Candidates with fluent English skills and experience in multinational environments are preferred for effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
