• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships on behalf of the organisation
• Following and enforcing Sembcorp’s procurement policies and procedures, support the functions and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field with minimally 8 years of sourcing/procurement experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing
• Experience in negotiating of vendor contracts including EPC contracts, supply agreements and long term service agreements
• Relevant experience in utilities and renewables industry is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM) modules will be preferrable

• Assist in the analysis of the sales plan to determine and plan future production.

Requirements

• Minimum NTC 2 or NTC 3 in Manufacturing / Logistics / Supply Chain or its equivalent

• Able to perform overtime when necessary
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, resourcefulness.

• Global Commodity Management for electronic related materials (PCBA, power supply, cables, sensors)
• Searching, selecting, qualifying, evaluating and managing potential and existing suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, prices and agreements with suppliers
• In charge of strategic buying for all projects
• Work on escalated issues with suppliers and coordinate closely with materials department
• Analyse and prepare statistics to support sourcing strategies and strategic planning
