Responsibilities:

• Use various measurement techniques/methods to determine the desirable suppliers.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance as needed.
• Adjust lead times for commodities based on monitoring results.
• Plan and schedule work execution, using internal or subcontracted services, and track progress.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop specifications for competitive procurement of complex items.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Safety, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned.

ESSSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily reports, MRP and Vendor Portal to ensure timely delivery of products to the manufacturing site.
• Procurement of materials for manufacturing and aftermarket requirements.
• Evaluation of supplier's performance on metrics such as cost, quality, delivery, resolving of all accounts payable issues & interfacing on all technical issues.
• Identification and development of new supply sources as required.
• Coordination of purchasing activities with manufacturing, aftermarket and engineering departments.
• Implementation of lean programs with suppliers.
• Maintenance of inventory at planned levels.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Supply Chain/Logistic with 2-5 years of relevant purchasing experiences
