NAEUM Restaurant Group operates three concepts: i) NAEUM, a 1 MICHELIN-starred restaurant serving contemporary Seoul cuisine, ii) HIDEAWAY by NAEUM, our private dining space, iii) GUUM Contemporary Grill, a premium Korean steakhouse.

We are currently looking for a Pastry Chef to join our team at NAEUM, the flagship restaurant.

Requirements:

- at least 4 years of total Back of House experience with at least 2 year in fine dining (MICHELIN accolade or equivalent).

- Established skills in baking and pastry

- Strong leadership, able to guide juniors well

- Willingness to learn and stamina to upkeep with MICHELIN quality standard

- Strong dessert and pastry R&D experience

- Experience in ingredients ordering and inventory tracking

- Languages: strong command of spoken and written English

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting an Event Manager/Director with the day-to-day project management, including the ability to deliver highly proactive, reactive, and prompt event support.
• Project support, assisting the Event Manager/Director on fulfilling event plan, budgets and timelines, and supporting event documentation. Working closely with designers, printers, external venues, and other 3rd party suppliers to ensure projects are executed professionally, on time, and within budget and client expectations.
• Bring event plans to life by finalising all event arrangements including but not limited to identifying clear deliverables, accurate budgets, and realistic project timelines.

Your Responsibilities

• You must grasp the design brief to develop creative concepts and fulfil the scope of design work for our client events
• You will need to align and develop the design concepts to celebrate the event themes and clients’ brands
• Your design work may involve illustrations, logo creation and other art forms
• You will be challenged to adapt your key visuals for different media including rounds of edits based on feedback for client events to go live beautifully
• You will participate in our creative brainstorms and visual explorations for our client events as well as our monthly huddle
• You will be working closely with the accounts or event teams as well as our creative lead

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support kitchen staff in preparing and organizing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly. Your tasks will include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen surfaces, and assisting with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients. You will help store ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper labeling and stock rotation, and may assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision. You will also help with kitchen inventory, ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, and assist chefs and other kitchen staff with general kitchen duties as needed.

Job Requirements

To succeed as a Kitchen Assistant, you should have basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required. You should be physically fit, as the job may involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy items. Strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. A positive attitude and good communication skills are important for maintaining a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kitchen equipment and tools are clean before use
• Bake different bread types, like baguettes and multigrain breads, etc.
• Manage oven temperatures to ensure proper baking and mix various ingredients
• Track food supplies and place orders, if needed

Requirement

• Able to work in rotating shifts (5am - 3pm)
• Experience as baker for 2-3 years
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters, etc.
• Understanding of food safety practices
• On job training will be provided
