Role Description:

This is an onsite role located in Tampines, Singapore, 5-min walk from Tampines West MRT (DT31). Marketing and Operations Assistant will support the company's team by assisting in the development and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns, social media management, database management, event planning, and operational business support.

• Develop compelling and engaging content, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and website copy.

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our events and services.

• Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, including ROI and KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to produce relevant and informative content for our target audience

• Utilising market research and competitive analysis to identify target markets, audience segments, and marketing opportunities

• Assist and support operations team: handling bookings, response to enquiries from every social platform and walk-ins, customers concerns, maintaining the customers database accurately etc.

• Ensure the facility is a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Candidates with no experience, but the mindset of willing to learn are welcome.

• Bonus for candidates with knowledge in golf

• Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in photography and videography and editing

• Outstanding organizational, project management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

• Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and flexibility

• Required to work onsite, and working on weekends

Working days: Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6pm) (Work Overtime)

Work location: Novena / Clarke Quay

Salary: $3,000/month

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls & site visit to ensure timely consent collection
• Reach out to the respondent from selected establishment to participate and in digital survey data transmission
• Explain survey objectives and procedures to respondent on the confidential database to be extracted
• Interpret survey questions to help respondents’ comprehension
• Compile, record, input results and data from interview surveys into the system
• Conduct administrative tracking of the collection progress.
• Ensure that the given KPI are being met based on the project timeline
• Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data

Requirements:

• Singaporean
• Have an excellent communication skills | Microsoft Excel | Site Visit
• Prior working experience in Customer Service/Call Centre is a big plus
• Experiences with KPI targets

Overview

The APEx Facility (Athletic Performance & Exercise) is Singapore American School’s on-campus health and wellness center. Singapore American School seeks a dynamic individual to oversee the programming and operations of this facility.

The APEx Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Co-Curriculars and is responsible for establishing and maintaining developmentally appropriate programs for SAS students, athletes, and faculty; supervising all activities taking place in the APEx Facility; and monitoring and progress to ensure that equipment is used safely and that programs are followed; and consult, support and assist the sports medicine staff with injured athletes' rehabilitation plans.

The APEx Coordinator will:

• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe approach towards training and remaining physically active for life (regardless of age and ability).
• Prepare our SAS students for the rigors of High School Athletics through educationally sound pedagogy, youth athlete development, and physical preparation in pre-season, in-season, and off-season
• Create an annual LTAD physical development framework for each varsity sport
• Assist with Injury prevention- prehab and rehab
• Available for consultation of the PE curriculum as needed
• Support Strength and Conditioning programming for co-curriculars
• Provide health & fitness opportunities for the SAS Community (Faculty/Staff/Parents/Alumni)
• Manage the APEx Budget
• Manage membership of and access to APEx
• Create, implement, and adhere to all SAS policies such as; student safeguarding and facility/equipment usage.
• And finally, model and promote “the Eagle Way”.

​Note: The target start date for this role is July 2024.

Contract and hours of work

This is a full-time 10-month support staff position and will be required to work from Mondays to Saturdays (total of 40 hours per work week).

The work schedule shall be set by the Director of Co-Curriculars in conjunction with appointed SAS supervisors. This will be structured to ensure smooth programs and operations during APEx opening hours, which will include weekdays, weekends and school holidays.

Opening Hours of APEx : Monday to Friday - 6:00am-6:00pm / Saturday - 8:00am-1:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Hire, supervise, and schedule the work hours and responsibilities of the APEx supervisors to ensure all operating hours are covered
• Work in cooperation with the Activities & Athletics Directors and associated teams in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes
• Collaborate with coaches as needed to arrange sport-specific training regimes for team members
• Manage the APEx Facility
• Prescribe fitness programs for the SAS Community through the development of and implementation of an SAS Community Health & Performance Program (including but not limited to bootcamp training; semi-private training, 1-to-1 personal training, and remote coaching options)
• Educate center users on proper use and technique – including but not limited to in-service sessions for PE department faculty
• Liaise with the SAS Facilities team
• Assist APEx Facility users in the case of a medical emergency
• Develop systems for tracking and monitoring user progress and coordinate any communication/feedback/reevaluation and documentation between students, coaches, and faculty
• Liaise with external vendors and internal maintenance/ operations teams to ensure all the equipment running properly and to ensure a well-kept facility
• Provide strength & conditioning educational content for the athletics programs
• Create a system for the opening of APEx during some school holiday periods

Minimum Qualifications:​

• Bachelor degree in Sports and Exercise Science, Kinesiology or equivalent related field
• Excellent organizational and management skills.
• Demonstrates competence in managing a database and student/fitness records
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities concurrently.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Positive work attitude and initiative.
• Ability to work cooperatively and provide assistance as necessary to other team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• To handle important FM engineering management in the data centre.
• To be responsible for all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities
• To manage support fire protection and suppression system, electrical system, water detection system, DCIM, ACMV, genset, etc.
• To be responsible for all security systems, CCTV and card access.
• To handle asset management for DC.
• To manage annual building power shutdown.
• To manage DC shutdown script and ensure all testing and maintenance are conducted orderly.
• To be the first line of escalation point 24x7 under MSL for all critical alarms and equipment
• To manage and raise incident reports.
• To manage lifecycle replacement/sustainment plan to mitigate any risk or breakdown.
• To support and execute all DC projects, including but not limited to delivering and ensuring that all incident reports are recorded.
• To raise, review, and approve all work orders, risk assessments, and method statements
• To follow up and submit quotations for any break-fix and enhancement works.
• To ensure licence renewal
• To be the liaising point with building management for building infra-supporting MSL.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least NITEC/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering/Building
• Candidate must have relevant Data Center Environment experience
• Candidate must be able to start work immediately
