We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at a well-renowned fine dining italian restaurant in central Singapore. As Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and contributing to our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the pizza and pasta section of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of preparation and presentation
• Craft artisanal pizzas and handmade pasta dishes that meet our exacting standards
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop innovative menu items and seasonal specialties
• Ensure consistent quality and portion control for all dishes in your section
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in your station
• Adhere to and enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in the art of pizza and pasta making
• Manage inventory and minimize waste in your section
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
• Assist in maintaining relationships with specialty ingredient suppliers

Qualifications:

• Western trained in pizza and pasta
• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge with specialization in pizza and pasta preparation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills
• Food safety certification

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $3,500
• (Working hours) Weekdays: 11 AM-3 PM, 5 PM-9:30 PM
• (Working hours) Weekends: 11 AM-3 PM, 5 PM-10 PM
• 5.5 working days per week

Primary Responsibilities

• Overseeing the culinary operation of Syun, our Premier Japanese Dining restaurant, as well as the Casual Japanese restaurant.
• Responsible for all aspect of leading the Japanese restaurant Culinary Teams, including developing new Promotions, Strategic Menu Planning, Food Cost Compliance, Product Sourcing, Human Capital Management strategies planning, make Data analytical decisions and liaise with celebrity chefs – compiling and consolidating of project proposals

Requirements

• Diploma or professional certificate in Culinary

• Excellent knowledge of Japanese cuisine for creation of indulgent omakase and Izakaya menus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to perform shift work, weekends and public holidays.
