Job Description:

• Check and verify food stock levels with the accepted level.

Sake+ is a brand new concept restaurant which will be opened right next to Somerset MRT station.

Job Descriptions

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Italian and/or Japanese cuisine and a keen interest in fusion cooking. You will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to our mission of delivering an exceptional dining experience.

• Lead a team and assist a chef
• Prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese and Italian-Japanese fusion dishes with precision and flair.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented to the highest standard and in line with our restaurant's concept.
• Manage kitchen inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
• Create a menu with the chef.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Job Requirements

• 3 years of western or Italian, or Japanese cook experience
• Willing to learn and can-do attitude

Working hours

• 5 to 5.5 days a week,
• 44 hours a week + OT( 8 hours on average)
• Split Shift

Individual to be involved in:

1.Controlling and directing the food preparation process

2.Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer

3.Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels

4.Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality

5.Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering

6.Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food 7.safety guidelines

8.Being responsible for health and safety

9.Being responsible for food hygiene practices

• Preparing, cooking and presenting in WESTERN CUISINES for Hotel Restaurant.
• Managing and training any cooks working with you.
• Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
• Ensuring your team and you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
• Monitoring portions and waste control to maintain profit margins.
