• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology recognised by the PE Board along with 3 years relevant experience in major infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to engage with clients regarding all operational tasks and projects.
• Supervise and ensure that maintenance programs and rectification tasks are efficiently managed by a team of technical officers and technicians.
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for various Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems, including chiller systems, chilled water systems, direct expansion (DX) systems, mechanical ventilation systems, clean room systems, and building management systems.
• Develop comprehensive plans for the installation, maintenance, and operation of ACMV systems.
• Provide guidance and lead technical investigations for rectification works, ensuring effective resolution of issues.
• Ensure daily air conditioning thermal comfort levels are maintained within acceptable limits according to established codes of practice.
• Monitor and report on maintenance work progress, follow up on action items, and maintain thorough maintenance checklists and schedules.
• Innovate and implement improvements to operational processes aimed at enhancing efficiency and promoting energy conservation.
• Work collaboratively with owners, users, consultants, vendors, and contractors to provide feasible solutions that meet engineering functional requirements and ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Conduct regular inspections of existing air-conditioning systems to verify that all maintenance programs are effectively implemented in strict adherence to guidelines and Provide technical specifications for ACMV system upgrades or renovation projects as needed.
• Stay informed about local codes of practice, including ASHRAE standards, to ensure compliance in all operations.
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors for rectification and ad-hoc works, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently.
• Investigate, analyze, and determine root causes of breakdowns and faults, reporting findings effectively.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and proposals regarding breakdowns and maintenance activities.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or industrial).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems, facilities management, or project management.
• Proficient in guiding and troubleshooting ACMV faults, with a solid understanding of construction principles and building processes.
• Thorough understanding of building regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-engineering team members.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, and well-organized, with a strong safety mindset and a commitment to exemplary workplace safety and health (WSH) practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting on-site issues effectively.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.

• Ensure that the construction works are done according to drawings and within specified requirements.
• Check thoroughly drawings and instructions received and also highlight their discrepancies and work changes to the Project Manager.
• Prepares and submits method statements and alternative proposals as and when required.
• Liaise closely with the client’s representative and other work changes.
• Prepares site records of variation work and other work changes
• Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers of different trades pertaining to sub-contract activities to be executed on-site
• Report any problems, discrepancies or changes that affect the quality of the works.
• Assist to enforce the Quality Management System on-site, including safety management.
• Assist to ensure that all construction activities comply with the Authority.
• Collate information from Supervisor/Foremen of the different trades to compile and prepare the Site Daily Report including the progress report.
• Assist the Quality Surveyor in preparing the monthly progress claims, VO claims and verifies suppliers and sub-contractors claims.
• Candidates with sound knowledge of Plumbing & Sanitary.
• More than 6 years experience in Singapore

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for a variety of data center functions, including:

• Assist with incident, change, and problem management
• Manage Data Centre inventories – equipment, testers, consumables, etc.
• Fault troubleshooting and rectification
• Support Planned Activities such as network / facilities upgrade, new installation
• Maintain documentation / records, procedures and communication
• Manage & Supervise subcontractors and third-party vendors
• Project Management for special network & facilities implementation
• Compliance with standards of Data Center – PCI-DSS & ISO27001
• Implement physical security access control
• Handle customers’ requirement such as delivery acceptance, remote hand supports, etc.
• Handle customers’ order such as provisioning of cages, racks and cross connects
• Monitor and supervise data centre facilities maintenance
• Review and improve operational processes
• Able to perform day and night shift duty
• Work directly with the Global Service Operations Center, Global Service Desk, Security, and Facilities Management teams to maintain data center hosting integrity, during provisioning and troubles resolution
• Work closely with various departments such as DC Engineering, Sales and Finance
• Work closely with colocation clients to ensure their remote hand requests are carried out & met
• Work closely with security and facility team to deliver good customer experience and to ensure our SLAs are met

Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Data Centers, Telecommunication, IT discipline
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in Data Centers or similar environment experience.
• Knowledgeable of building facilities Electrical & Mechanical (HVAC, CCTV, security access, BMS Fire protection system).
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS & ISO 27001
• Relevant network certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP)
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and maintain agreed external stakeholders relationships relevant to the achievement of business objectives
• Knowledge of test equipment such as circuit tester, Optical Power Meter etc.
