Job Description

The Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable data pipelines, data marts and business intelligence dashboards to be used across Singapore Airlines Group.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Understand business processes, applications and how data is created, stored and gathered in Singapore Airlines.
• Use big data tools and platforms to create and maintain data pipelines, making sure pipelines are robust, scalable, and reliable. Troubleshoot and rectify issues with data pipelines as necessary.
• Build expertise and domain knowledge on the data. Establish and own the data quality and SLA for various data flows.
• Explore, analyse, and aggregate various types of data to provide business insights to the data team stakeholders. Create compelling story and visualisation to convey these insights. Ask right and inquisitive questions of the data to deliver analytics solution to the business.
• Design, build and manage data marts to satisfy our growing data needs.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.
• This is an individual contributor role.
• Note: You could be posted to any subsidiary in SIA Group.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. MS or PhD degree is a plus.
• Python development experience in production environment is required.
• More than 2 years of SQL (such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS Redshift, GCP Big Query, or Hive) experience is required. NoSQL experience is a plus.
• More than 2 years working with Linux OS. Knowledge of networks and cybersecurity is a plus.
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code systems like AWS CloudFormation. DevOps, AWS and GCP experience is a plus.
• Experience in working with a commercial ETL tools like Ab Initio and Talend would be a plus.
• Experience in ETL pipeline design, implementation and maintenance.
• Experience working with visualization tools (specifically Tableau would be preferred).
• Ability in analysing data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.
• Ability in managing and communicating data mart plans to internal customers.

Job Title : PROCESS / TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (ID3347)
Location : Yio Chu Kang
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am – 5:30pm
Salary : $3300-$4300

Job Descriptions :
• Be a team member of the sales department
• Study technical enquiries and interpret client requirements and/or URS
• Participate and lead technical clarification meeting
• Provide process design, technical and application support including
process flow diagram or flowsheet generation
• Provide costing on proposed equipment/solutions according to customer
requirements within the stipulated budget; prepare quotation together
with the scope of supply on technical specification.
• Prepare technical presentation to client
• Liaise with factory or counterpart to request for quotation
• Work with draughtsman for the process flow diagram or flowsheet and
layout generation.

Job Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• With at least 2 years of relevant experience in technical support engineer
• Applicant who have relevant experienced in Powder Processing System & Equipment or Engineering Sales is an added advantage

Job Description:

• Ensure compliance and practice of Company's engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices in conformance with local standards and legislations.
• Manage and communicate with internal/external project teams including relevant Authorities and relevant parties about engineering works and project schedule to comply with all project requirements with agreed procedures.
• Prepare submission reports, specifications and other necessary documents for approval and application to meets both Client and legislations requirements and specifications.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule.
• Identify, analyze and evaluate problems encountered and propose the effective solution approach.
• Mentoring the project team and managing its performance by providing assistance and support whenever necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned assigned by immediate superior or Head of department.

Job Requirement

• At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required

Responsibilities :

• Experience in integrating vision systems with automated processes, motion control based on model data, mathematical modeling experience and creating software solutions.
• Work in a multi-discipline team to aid in the collection and validation of system requirements.
• Create automated inspection and guidance solutions using vision and other sensing technology.
• Provide hands-on implementation and mentoring.
• Create innovative technical concepts, ensure costing and schedule to successfully deliver the project.
• Maintain knowledge of new vision, automation and sensing technology.
• Detailed design specification generation.
• Provide internal and on-site integration support.
• Aid in the creation of test plans and documentation.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with min three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with vision system database.
• Knowledge of camera, light, and lens selection for applications ranging from defect detection to part location.
• Programming background with high-level languages such as Visual C# WPF, C++ and Python.
• Experience in developing vision system with Halcon and Opteon camera.
• Good knowledge in Machine Vision programming and experiences.
• Good experience on automation controls, motors & sensors like PLC, CTC, Beckoff PC and controllers, Servo & Stepper motors.
• Familiarity with wiring/cabling size/terminations and load/temperature requirements.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery design.
• Skilled in the utilization of statistical analysis.
• Required to travel regionally (average 20% of the time).
• 5 days work week.
• Transport pick-up at Bedok MRT station.
