· Review & upgrade existing automated production lines via root cause analysis for continuously improvement to meet production new requirement.
· Create, prepare, update automation project documentation, procedures & drawings of Gantt chart, weekly progress report, process / equipment flow chart, validation list, buy off/FAT/SAT (Factory / Site Acceptance Test) procedure, mechanical assembly & layout drawing, electrical diagram & wiring, I/O list, co-robot & PLC program, SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), WI (Work Instruction) & PM (preventive maintenance) check list.
· Attention to details of design concepts, provide most cost-effective technical solutions in line with customer and company needs.
· Update & back up automation system documentation, procedures, drawings, software, co-robot & PLC programming timely.
· Coordinate with internal team (BD, QC, production, maintenance) and external supplier to make projects successful.
· Prepare machines preventive maintenance check list and training operation & maintenance staffs. Service & troubleshooting machines when requested.
· Adhere to plant safety, food safety, sanitation standards and following all GMP guidelines.
· Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives
· Collaborates with suppliers and machine maker to complete all FAT and SAT requirements within the delivery date.
· Perform Lean principle (5S, Gemba-walk, 5-why and B&A suggestion improvements)
· Any other duties when assigned by management
Requirements:
· Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
· Previous 3-6 years’ experience as a validation engineer or in a similar role.
· Strong understanding of automation engineering system design concept & development, manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Attention to detail.
· Knowledge of statistical software analysis (e.g., MINITAB, MATLAB)
· Well versed in Microsoft office tools (Excel/ Word / Power point)
· Have knowhow in Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and CPK study.
· Attention to details and eager to learn new technology.
· Location: Pioneer/Joo Koon| Mondays to Fridays (8:30am to 5:45pm)
· Monthly salary x 13 + Variable Bonus. Monthly salary will commensurate according to experiences
