Job Description & Requirements

UTILITY ENGINEER (LTA Tunnelling Construction)

- Report to Site Mgr/Construction Mgr/Coordination Mgr/PM/PD

- Provides coordination of construction of the project t pertaining to the utilities.

- Ensure the project needs are met without compromising the reliability of the utility system

Accountabilities:

• Understand the customer’s network structure and become familiar with the Customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures to ensure supporting a network with proper SLAs.

1. Perform the maintenance service in a proper and correct manner as stated on the checklist

2. Attend emergency breakdown service as instructed by the team leader

3. Carry out testing & commissioning for A&A work and run the small size of project

4. Provide technical support to the Application Team

5. Co-ordinate with the Project and Application departments and provide necessary support when required by the Team Leader

Production Shift Supervisor

• Working hours: 5-days (Mon to Fri) / 8 am to 4.30pm

Position Summary:

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and managing the production process of the EVAL Manufacturing site, which will be launched in the second half of 2026, and makes any necessary process changes to maintain the production safely and stably. The Shift Supervisors are responsible for the efficient operation of the EVAL Plant in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. Until the startup of EVAL production line, training and learning opportunities of EVAL production technology are provided by experienced members in company. • Support the Production Manager and Production Superintendent in process analysis, troubleshooting and optimization of plant operations.

• Leads Emergency Response Team as Site Incident Commander.

CARES is leading a new project “Sustainable Manufacture of Molecules and Materials (SM3)”, funded by NRF CREATE programme within the Decarbonisation Grand Challenge. SM3project is a collaboration with NTU, NUS, CARES & the University of Cambridge and EPFL. The broad aim of the project is to develop novel approaches and technologies for fully de-fossilised routes to complex functional molecules and molecular materials. The project will explore novel chemical transformations for conversion of net-zero feedstocks to building blocks typically used in pharma, agrochem and other end applications. The project will also explore novel synthetic methods for conversion of the building blocks into end-use functional molecules. Novel synthesis technologies (photoelectrochemistry, sonochemistry, mechanochemistry, etc), as well as advanced research methods (AI, chemoinformatics, high-throughput synthesis) and process metrics (LCA and technoeconomic analysis) are included in this large project.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to fill a vacancy of a Research Fellow or a Senior Research Fellow. The successful candidate would have a PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Process Systems Engineering and Machine Learning (AI) for Chemical Engineering.
