Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing all technical operations and mechanical systems within the Hotel, ensuring the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the Hotel and its facilities. He also oversees, supervises and ensure timely completion of any alteration and addition works, major replacement of equipment and preventive maintenance.

Our Expectations:

• Plan and direct the execution of preventive maintenance and repair schedules of all machinery, equipment and facilities and see to the proper execution by Associate or external agencies or contractors.
• Execution and monitoring of administrative duties such as inventory management, record keeping of engineering work / repair, etc.
• Ensure practice of good housekeeping standard of the engineering workshop and that all safety procedures and rules are adhered to.
• Manage Engineering outsourced contractor and vendors to ensure that works are completed in accordance to Hotel and/or Regulatory standards and requirements.
• Work with procurement to obtain quotations for all the necessary works by external agencies / contractors and for all necessary purchases from suppliers with proper scope of work and requirements. Provide functional expertise and advice to ensure that quotes are aligned to Hotel and Regulatory specifications and requirements.
• Plan and prepare the annual Engineering budget including capital expenditure. Regularly review budget spends and ensure controls are put in place to effectively manage cost.
• Monitor and track utilities consumption and champion energy conservation initiatives and plans. Keep abreast of latest sustainability trends and suggest improvements and new programmes.
• Coach, guide and conduct appraisals of department Associates to ensure that they provide a high standard of engineering services which meets the expectations of the building owner / tenants / guests / shoppers.
• Prepare and submit reports as required by Hotel and/or Regulatory requirements
• Responsible as Programme Champion for Quality Certification eg Global Sustainability Tourism Council Certification, ISO45001 etc. Lead and drive programmes and initiatives to ensure continued certification and renewal.
• Ensure timely renewal of term contracts one month before expiry. Prompt notification to outgoing contractors.
• Ensure timely renewal of permits and/or licenses under the charge of Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake SQL, investment reporting data, and financial knowledge related to investment management. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support investment reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities:

- Data Infrastructure Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake and SQL.
- Develop data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows to ensure high data quality and reliability.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval performance in Snowflake.

Data Manipulation and Transformation:
- Perform complex data manipulation and transformation using SQL to prepare data for analysis and reporting.
- Implement data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain reusable SQL scripts and stored procedures for data processing.

Collaboration and Support:

Mandatory Skills Description:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on SQL and data manipulation.
- Proven experience working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Strong background in designing data model and building scalable data pipelines and data models.
