Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Involved in lesson planning, classroom preparation and teaching in classes
• Conduct assessments, implement strategies, monitor progress and evaluate goals for students
• Implement effective classroom management strategies
• Behaviour Documentation and Reporting
• Comminucating with parents and sending them updates on child's progression

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree graduates in Early Childhood Education
• Diploma in Child Psychology &/or Early Education (Early Intervention / Special Needs); Diploma in Early Childhood (Care &) Education, Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) is preferred
• Strong interest and commitment in working with children with developmental / special needs

Location: Alexandra/Near Ikea

• Demonstrating exercises to students and providing individualized instruction and corrections
• Determining what equipment is needed for classes, such as balls, mats, blocks, straps, exercise balls, resistance bands, and weights
• Teaching students stretching exercises to improve flexibility, posture, and cardiovascular health
• Demonstrating how to use exercise equipment in a safe manner
• Scheduling classes and communicating with clients about class times and cancellations
• Demonstrating proper technique to students during classes
• Assisting students with proper form during exercise routines
• Observing students during class to monitor form, posture, breathing patterns, technique, and safety precautions
• Leading group fitness classes that focus on strengthening the core muscles and improving balance and flexibility.

Pilates Instructor Skills

Pilates instructors need the following skills in order to be successful:

Communication skills: Communication skills are another important skill for a Pilates instructor to have. This is because they often work with clients one-on-one and need to be able to explain the exercises and routines they are teaching. They also need to be able to answer any questions clients may have about the program and be able to explain how it can help them achieve their fitness goals.

Physical fitness: Physical fitness is the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a Pilates instructor, you may be responsible for helping clients improve their physical fitness. This may include helping them lose weight, build muscle or improve their cardiovascular health.

Knowledge of exercises and routines: A thorough understanding of the exercises and routines used in a Pilates class is essential for a successful career as a Pilates instructor. Instructors should be able to explain the purpose of each exercise and how it can help students meet their fitness goals. They should also be able to create a variety of routines that challenge students of all skill levels.

Patience: Patience is another skill that can help a Pilates instructor be more effective in their job. Many students may be new to the Pilates method and may need more guidance and instruction than an experienced practitioner. Leadership: Leadership skills can help a pilates instructor guide their students through a workout. Chinese Language Teacher

Embracing our Company’s mission and values, you will integrate our teaching methodology in the delivery of effective Chinese lessons at Primary School level, inspiring children to learn Chinese in a fun way!

To excel in this position, you will need to: -

· have an accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin (in order to facilitate teaching in Chinese Language)

· possess experience in teaching local Primary School Chinese curriculum / Qualification in Chinese or Education studies

· display a warm and cheerful disposition

· work on weekends
