Essential Qualifications:

• A recognized degree in Music Education or equivalent, with a professional teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching primary-aged children (5-11 years), preferably in an international setting.
• Expertise in vocal and instrumental music teaching, with a passion for fostering a love of music in young learners.
• Strong experience in organising music performances and activities that involve student-led creativity and collaboration.
• Proficiency in using technology to support learning and musical engagement.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching students for whom English is an additional language (EAL).
• Knowledge of concept-based curriculums and international school frameworks.
• Skills in playing multiple instruments, particularly piano, and the ability to teach different musical genres and styles.
• Previous experience offering peripatetic music lessons.
