As an educator at MapleBear Orchard, you will be planning, supervising and implementing programmes for the children, 18 months to 6 years, in accordance to the centre's policies and framework. You will co-lead a class with another language teacher.

Other job scope include preparing observation and development reports of children, designing and maintaining the classroom space, teaching resources, as well as building a positive relationship with parents and children.

• Observe and document children’s holistic development using various methods, maintaining appropriate records of each child’s achievements and providing individual portfolios and reports.
• Build positive relationships with parents of children in your care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Guide, motivate, and monitor Assistant Teachers and Classroom Helpers in fulfilling their responsibilities.
• Adhere to the assigned work shift patterns of the centre.

Requirement

• Candidates must hold a Diploma in Preschool Teaching (DPT) or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• A genuine passion for working with children is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
