• A demonstrated capacity to work with teams and develop co-operative and constructive working relationships that promote quality teaching and learning practices.
• A demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills when relating to students, colleagues, parents and broader community.
• Experience of working with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. ( Desirable)
• Demonstrated experience/capacity to fulfil the core responsibilities of the position.

Job Description

* Work with Students on an Individual basis from 3.5years old to adult

* Provide Weekly Structured Progressive lessons for Students

* Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students needs and examination syllabus

* Teach Music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students entering and preparing students for examination

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Plan, prepare, and implement a curriculum that is appropriate for the age level, skill, and social development of the group of children served.
2. Supervise and interact with the children in all areas of the program, outdoors, and during field trips away from the program.
3. Maintain a safe and healthy environment that helps each child to have a positive experience throughout the school day.
4. Treat all children with dignity and respect and allow for individual differences.
5. Be familiar with and adhere to the program’s policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
6. Be responsible for maintaining the observational records such as portfolio for each child.
7. Maintain an open, friendly, professional relationship with all families.
