JOB DESCRIPTION

Subject teachers are informed, reflective practitioners who use inquiry-based teaching strategies to create positive learning environments that motivate and challenge learners to become proactive, life-long learners and leaders.

As a member of our English department, you will be teaching groups of learners between years 7 to 13 (ages 11 to 18). We deliver the IB MYP, IGCSE (Edexcel), and IBDP across the Secondary school.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A recognised teaching qualification
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher qualification) in English, Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
• Evidence of continued relevant professional development
• Experience working with bilingual and multilingual learners and learners with diverse needs
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international school environment where the school curriculum focused on IBMYP, IGCSE or IBDP (preferred).

Job Description
