· Teach and conduct coding, STEM and technology-related classes and programmes

· Develop and curate curriculum resources

· Oversee and train students in preparation of coding & robotics competitions

· Groom and mentor students into passionate and curious individuals in technology

· Facilitate an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment

· Adopt supportive classroom approach which facilitates positive learning and development

· Encourage children to express their own personalities and thoughts through creative process

· Provide quality feedback on children development progress

· Participate in campus events including parent meeting sessions and festive events

· Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the STEM Teacher (Supervisor)

Job Specification:

· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science / Computing / Technology / STEM-related fields

· Coding experience is not required; training will be provided. We are looking for keen learners with a deep interest to grow a career in the Tech Education sector

· Passion in teaching computer programming or STEM-related fields

· Passion for educating children, bonus if you have teaching experience

· Patient, approachable, and possess a passion for teaching kids and young adults

· Able to connect, interact, and establish cordial relationships with parents

· Possess a high degree of professionalism (e.g. in appearance, dressing, and communication skills)

· Energetic, with a positive can-do attitude

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Guiding primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework
• Keeping accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
• Prepare and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
• Conducting MindChamps unique enrichment programmes.
• Being an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre
• Ensure safety of children within the premises
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director/ Manager

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline
• Experience in teaching primary school students will be an advantage
• Able to guide in doing primary school subjects
• Possess good communication and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiastic & energetic and has a positive mindset to learn and grow together with the company.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the enrichment centre’s curriculum.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes creativity.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents; provide regular updates to parents on students’ performance and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues & assistant to enhance curriculum development and teaching methods.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, performance, and achievements.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities provide & collaborate with Japan HQ as required.
• Ensure centre management and the safety and well-being of all students.
• Perform all administrative and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education/ Teacher Certificate, Diploma or other Teacher Accreditation courses and certification, or relevant field.
• Prior experience teaching in an enrichment centre or similar educational setting.
• 1-2 year of proven experience in teaching mathematics/ science at the primary or early secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage young learners effectively.
• Passion for education and commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with Singapore’s education system and curriculum frameworks (PSLE & early Secondary).

To teach the MindChamps Music curriculum to all levels of students in Preschool. PG K2. Teachers will be teaching a comprehensive music literacy curriculum that includes instruction in singing, percussion, keyboards, recorder, and violin (in the upper grades).

1. Plan, supervise, and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of the centre.
2. Address each child's educational and developmental and keep accurate records of children's progress through checklists, progress notes, photographs and anecdotal records.
3. Other adhoc duties might be required as operational needs

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma or Professional Certification in Music (ABRSM in Piano, Music Theory, Music) Demonstrate musical competency in at least 2 instruments (E.g. Piano, Violin, Ukelele, Guitar, etc) Solfege (do-re-mi syllables), Suzuki Violin, Keyboard knowledge will be a plus point.
2. Creative and inspiring with loving energy Prior experience in classroom teaching. Experience teaching music to children. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
