Working Hour: 5.5 days, Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm/ Sat 8:30am to 1pm
Salary: $3000- $3500
Location: Mainly at Mount Elizabeth Novena (will need to assist Dr for some ad hoc duties and rotate within Toa Payoh / Tampines)

Job Scope:

• Basic wound dressing, assisting doctor in daily clinical work and to provide patient education
• Assist the doctor with procedures for general surgery. Training will be provided for this aspect.

• SNB Registered
• Willing to work at different clinic locations on rotating basis.

Job Descriptions:

• Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the role is to assist the Nurse Manager/Senior Staff Nurse to supervise and evaluate clinical nursing and administrative activities of the respective area/s designated.
• Maintain and improve clinical nursing and administrative standards
• Provide the full range of nursing care activities in clinical practice and uphold the philosophy and mission of company
• Build teamwork in nursing and with other departments in the holistic care of residents.
• Orientate, supervise and evaluate clinical practice of Senior Enrolled Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Nursing Aide, Healthcare Assistant and Healthcare Attendant when assigned.
• Participate in evaluation of clinical guidance and in-service programme.
• Check and execute inventory control.
• Ensure smooth execution of nursing and administrative policies and procedures
• Be familiar with code blue, infection control and fire & safety policies

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum of 1 year of related working experience as Staff Nurse.

• Management of blood products
• Management of Pharmacology
• Provide safe peri-operative nursing care for patients
• Educates & advise patients and families on the pre & post care steps/downtime/effects
• Ensure the standard of aseptic techniques are according to the operating theatre requirement
• Ensure OT rooms are always adequately prepared before the commencement of scheduled operation
• Compliant with OT policies and practices
