Requirements

1. Educational qualifications

• A recognised Masters’ degree in Psychology (preferably Clinical). The programme must include a supervised practicum and supervised training in psychological assessment and intervention.
• Be eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) (Full Membership) and Singapore register of Psychologists (SRP)

2. Work experience

• At least 5 years of experience in leading teams/psychologists including providing therapy to individuals, couples, children, and families.
• (Preferred) Familiarity or prior working experience in the social services sector

3. Other qualities

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
• Adaptable to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:

· Provide general nursing care, assisting the doctors and performing practical procedures such as dressing, injection, blood taking and specimen collection

· Daily operation involving administering of chemotherapy, hydration and other medication

· Perform venepuncture and cannulation

· Able to handle administrative work when the need arises

· Under immediate supervision of a Nurse Manager at Parkway Cancer Centre Clinic/s

Requirements:

· Possesses at least a Diploma in Nursing and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board

· Experience in oncology nursing preferred. Those with no experience but have work experience of at least 2 years in a hospital/clinic setting can also apply

· Good team player, meticulous, service-oriented, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to converse in bilingual languages (in order to liaise with multilingual speaking associates & patients)

· Full time position, Workdays Monday - Friday (Office Hours) & Alternate Saturday

• Assist out-patient clinic
• Provide patient education & counselling
• Maintain consumables & medication stocks
• Assist the Medical Director in the consultation room and procedures both in & outside the Centre
• Maintain stocks & inventory of surgical consumables
• Assist in laser refractive procedures (e.g. LASIK) & other minor procedures
• Upkeep of operating theatre and instrument sterility
• Coordinate with external parties (ie. labs, hospitals, clinics & operation theatre, etc) in the management of patients.
• Coordinate with external vendors for purchasing & maintenance of equipment and services.
• Organise the surgical listing of patients.
• Assist the medical director on all administrative duties relating to the smooth running of the centre.

Requirements:

• Fully registered with Singapore Nursing Board would be preferred
• Previous experience in ophthalmic or surgical nursing will be advantageous
