HiCura is a Singapore medtech startup developing AI-based ultrasound guidance systems for image-based interventional procedures. Our software uSINE automatically identifies spinal landmarks during an ultrasound scan to guide the anaesthetists to locate the accurate needle insertion location and angle during spinal anaesthesia and lumbar punctures.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on providing technical and clinical support for our products, including clinical trial support, pre-sales product demonstrations, post-sales installation, training, on-site clinical support and customer service activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Support: Provide expert guidance and support to healthcare professionals in the use of our products to ensure safe and effective application in clinical settings.
• Sales Support: Provide technical and clinical support during sales process by demonstrating product features, capabilities and benefits. Support trade shows and conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, customer interactions, and any technical issues, providing regular feedback to management and R&D teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Higher Nitec education in Nursing or related courses
• Preferably with 2 years of experience in clinical support in a hospital setting, particularly in anaesthesia.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer satisfaction mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficient in using medical devices and technology; previous experience with similar devices is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required to support clinical needs and training.

Job Description:

• Develop and deliver evidence-based educational programs
• Create and conduct orientation programs for new hires and ongoing competency-based training for current staff, ensuring alignment with local guidelines and best practices.
• Ensure educational content is updated regularly compliance with MOH regulations.
• Provide hands-on training and clinical supervision, ensuring nursing staff are equipped to deliver high-quality care
• Facilitate case discussions, simulations, and workshops to promote clinical excellence and critical thinking.
• Mentor and guide nursing staff in their professional development, encouraging continuous learning and the pursuit of advanced certifications.
• Utilize data, feedback, and insights to refine educational programs and address any gaps in knowledge or performance.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and MOH inspections to assess the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on patient outcomes.
• Serve as a resource and role model for nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence
• Work closely with nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and external partners, including government agencies, to coordinate educational efforts and align with national healthcare priorities.
• Represent the nursing education department in meetings, committees, and professional forums
• Maintain accurate records of educational activities, staff competencies, and certifications, ensuring they meet MOH requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Singaporean healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations on the outcomes and impact of educational programs for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and relevant post-basic advanced certificates are required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Certification in Nurse Education (e.g., CNE) or equivalent is preferred. Advanced training certificates (e.g., ACLP) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in nursing education or staff development

Job Description

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing safe and high-quality patient care under the supervision of staff nurses. You will also assist in patient education activities and attend to requests from patients and relatives.

Clinical Nursing Quality and Safety

• Assist in providing a consistent and excellent clinical and service quality to residents and sponsors.
• Work closely with SN/SSNs to achieve the 4 Zeros clinical indicators – Zero Falls, Zero Medication Errors, Zero Nursing Home Acquired Pressure Ulcers and Zero Nursing Home acquired infection.

Clinical Care

• Assist in the administration of medications and perform simple dressings after being passing the skills competency in medication administrations and wound dressings.
• Assist in monitoring of vital signs.
• Assist in admission, assessment and orientation of new residents.

Supervision

• Assist in providing supervision to all newly recruited enrolled nurses and other junior staff ensuring that they carry out their duties in accordance to the SOPs.
• Provide supervision of care staff in serving of meals and feeding of residents.

Residents’ Activities

• Assist in carrying out the daily activities for the residents and maintain an accurate log-book.
• Assist the Physiotherapist/Therapist Assistant in their rehabilitation program for the residents and encourage residents’ participation.
• Perform rehabilitation procedures such as motion exercises and assist them in their walking.

Resource Management

• Assist in proper management of food costs by cutting wastes and monitor the efficient use of consumables, supplies, dressing materials and diapers accordingly.

Feedback Management

• Assist in any investigation and resolve all feedback and complaints received from the respective centres

Other Duties

• Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Centre Manager/ Centre Manager/ Assistant Centre Manager/ Senior Staff Nurses/Staff Nurses (SCM/CM/ACM/SSN).
• Assist in provision of holistic cleanliness of resident care area.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate log book on daily activities in the centre
• Maintain good communication skills with residents and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Locally Trained: NITEC in Nursing
• Foreign Trained: Degree or Diploma in Nursing with Board Pass (Professional Regulation Council)
• State Enrolled Nurse with valid practicing license issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• At least 1-2 years of post-registration experience, with some exposure in a geriatric setting will be an added advantage
