RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Staff Nurse in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and service delivery.
• Lead, mentor, guide, and support staff members in caring for residents, drawing from training received under Industry Skill Certificate, Institute of Technical Education, or equivalent approved courses.
• Assign roles to team members for each shift, ensuring efficient distribution of responsibilities.
• Ensure the adherence to schedules regarding residents' needs and actively engage residents in a variety of activities.Demonstrate the ability to identify abnormalities, including monitoring behaviors of concern, and promptly escalate them to the designated staff.
• Maintain the standards of care as per the policies and procedures of the Organization.

To provide safe quality nursing care that meets the needs and expectations of the patients according to Ministry of Health guidelines. Responsible to ensure that quality nursing services are rendered.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing basic nursing care and patient education under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, in collaboration with the healthcare teams according to the established policies, procedures and guidelines. He/She attends relevant nursing trainings to ensure that his/her skills remain up-to-date to provide patients with quality nursing care. He/She provides coaching for newly joined enrolled nurses, students and support care staff.

- Adhere to infection control and prevention practices in resident care activities

- Teach residents, caregivers and family members proper techniques in self-care

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Enrolled Nurse is required to work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide palliative care to patients with terminal illness and end-stage organ failure.
