The Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, National University Hospital is seeking candidates for our fellowship in Vascular Surgery under National University Heart Centre, Singapore. We are a 1,400 bed hospital with full range of vascular surgery services. There are 6 Consultant surgeons in the vascular division. We have an aortic center which offer full range of open, endovascular as well as hybrid surgery and both cardiac and vascular surgeons worked closely together. The fellowship will be at registrar/senior registrar level and you are expected to do on call at frequency of 1:4 Rota to 1:5.

Clinic Staff Nurse (Office Hours) - No Shift/ No On-Call

Job Description & Requirements

• Providing care to patients
• Various Roles Openings in Different Disciplines in following :
• - (1) versed at performing in IV cannulation & Vennepuncture- - (2) Scrub - to assist doctor in the day surgery when needed
• - (3) PACU - to assist the Anaesthetist in the theatre
• - (4) Recovery - to monitor vital signs of patients pre/post
• - (5) Radiology - with experience in radiology clinics
• Dispensing medications, provide medication and wound care advice to patients
• Maintaining medical records and processing insurance/ medisave claims by patients
• Able to speak Mandarin to the Chinese-speaking patients
• Any other duties assigned

Requirements

• At least Diploma in Nursing
• Must be registered with SNB in Singapore
• BCLS & AED certified
• Any acute ward / SOC experiences would be an advantage
• With minimum of 3 years experience
• 5.5 days week (Office Hours) - some with alternate sat off.

• National Institute of Technical Education Certificate (NITEC) in Nursing or equivalent
