- Related work experience in clinical service

Responsibilities:
1. Perform Polysomnography sleep studies on patients referred by medical doctors trained in sleep medicine.
2. Perform Neurological diagnostics test eg. Electroencephalography(EEG).
3. Able to do over night duties to follow patients sleeping times.
4. As some tests do not require to stay overnight, will require to fix electrodes before patient go to bed and to return back again to end recording and collection of device.
5. Able to perform Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) which is conducted 2 hours after end of overnight sleep study and will last for 35 mins, 2 hours interval for 5 times on that day (this procedure will last for whole day until about 6pm).
6. Able to perform Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) titration study.

Clinical Associates are foreign-trained doctors who are granted temporary medical registration to work in polyclinics. They perform duties equivalent to that of a medical officer level. He/She will be responsible for the management of patients in primary care setting, which includes managing acute and chronic medical conditions and providing preventive care and medical care for women and children.

Job Requirement

1. Holds a basic medical degree from a medical university / school accredited in the state in which it was awarded
2. Must have passed the relevant national licensing examination in the country of conferment of basic degree, where applicable
3. Must possess at least 3 years' post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer (or equivalent) in a relevant field / specialty, or a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field / specialty. 4. Be registered as a Medical Practitioner in the country where he/she is currently practising in active clinical (patient fronting) practice for the 3 years preceding the application for Medical Registration in Singapore
