Summarized Purpose:

• Provides support to investigator sites, monitors, department, business unit or function through communication of information, training sites and documentation of services pertaining to clinical trials. • To perform data entry, entering client accounts, patient demographic information & order laboratory tests completely and accurately into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

• Recognize and correct inaccurate or missing information on the laboratory requisitions

• Filling and archiving of documents.

• Assist in printing department, sorting and distributing laboratory reports on an ad-hoc basis.

• Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

• Ensuring smooth daily operation.

Job Requirements

• Willing to work 5.5 days (Mon-Sat) work week, overtime and rotating shift schedule

• Minimum GCE N & O-Level with at least 1 year of relevant call centre work experience, preferably in healthcare industry.

• Good typing skills and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent phone etiquette and positive learning and working attitude

• Fluent in written & spoken English is a must

• Computer literate, Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

ACTRIS

The Advanced Cell Therapy and Research Institute, Singapore (ACTRIS) was established to meet the increasing clinical demand of using cellular therapeutics to treat various life-threatening diseases. ACTRIS’ vision is to be the national and regional Centre of Excellence for discovery, process development and manufacturing of cellular-based therapeutics across the broad spectrum of immunotherapy and regenerative medicine, encompassing both investigational and approval products for the local market. We also provide value-added services such as workforce training, regulatory facilitation and ancillary material standardization, pertaining to delivery of cellular therapy to patients.

What you will be working on

Manage Facility:

• Ensuring that the facility is in compliance with GMP regulations. This includes developing and implementing procedures and processes, maintaining accurate and up to date records and documentation, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance, reporting incidences and preparing reports and data as required by management or to regulatory authorities.
• Assist to manage equipment- and system-related investigations, CAPAs, deviations change controls and to review records.
• Scheduling routine maintenance with service vendors for maintenance of the facility and lab & production equipment to be done on time, including preparing User Request Specification (URS), obtaining quote and following up on PO issuance.
• Ensuring proper & timely maintenance, calibration and operation of all equipment, facility M&E, safety and security equipment such as HVAC, CCTVs, access control, etc.
• Manage HVAC systems and configuration within the GMP environment.
• Managing contractors and stakeholders to ensure regulatory & safety requirements, operating standards, established protocols and the service level requirements of integrated facilities management are met.
• Partner with key stakeholders to meet user requirements and optimal functioning of all laboratory & production and building spaces.
• Responsible for managing the Building Management System, Environment Monitoring System and the facility SMS alarm including responding to environmental deviations and alarms promptly, investigating root causes, and supporting implementation of corrective actions to maintain compliance. Assist with Facilities / Engineering initiatives with cross-functional team leaders, following cGMP regulations and internal procedures in accordance with applicable regulatory standards.

Maintain workplace safety & health (WSH):

• Adhere with WSH management system and risk management plan, conducting regular safety inspections, addressing safety concerns, and coordinating with security personnel to prevent unauthorized access or other security threats.
• Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
• Manage risk in the workplace, recommend, implement actions, and review effectiveness of measures to improve WSH performance and control risks.
• Conduct incident investigations and make recommendations to address root cause of incidents.
• Managing any other operational related duties/projects as assigned.

What we are looking for

1. EDUCATION, TRAINING

· Diploma equivalent Facilities Related, Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health or related fields

2. EXPERIENCE

· At least 5 years relevant working experience in managing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities/ cleanrooms and BMS (Building Management System).

· Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems supporting GMP environment.

· Fire Safety and biosafety related knowledge / experience will have an added advantage.

· Effective stakeholder management and good communication skills.

· Good team player with positive work attitude.

· Ability to multi-task and work independently

We are looking for a forward-thinking Principal Clinical Pharmacist to play a key role in revolutionising patient care within our Hospital-at-Home program. This flexible role, available as full or part-time, allows you to practice at the top of your license, leveraging your expertise in pharmaceutical care and medication management to make an impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend daily interdisciplinary rounds to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans in a home-based hospital setting
• Conduct daily virtual ward rounds with the patients, driving innovation in pharmacological care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize your extensive knowledge of inpatient care to manage complex cases across a wide range of specialties
• Innovate and optimize medication regimens, enhancing patient adherence and minimising adverse effects, while contributing to the transformation of clinical care models
• Provide expert consultation on medication management, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy

Clinical Practice also includes the following pharmacy duties:

• Provide general clinical pharmacy services to promote wellness and ensure optimization of medication therapy outcomes for patients, including ensuring accurate medication records, medication reconciliation, and ensuring medication adherence
• Identify and define patient-specific medical problems, recommend, implement and manage patient pharmacotherapy, review, counsel, dispense and/or supply medications as needed
• Provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of patient's drug therapy, resolve and/or prevent patient's drug-related problems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, work and/or consult with other health care providers to improve patient outcomes
• Promote and monitor for adherence to prescribing guidelines or drug use protocols.
• Provide professional advice and evidence-based drug information to patients and the health care team
• Work with patients, caregivers and other health care providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, timely distribution and quality use of medication that will best meet the patient's needs, achieve desired patient outcomes and assure continuity of services
• Communicate with patients and/or caregivers on a group or individual basis to ensure understanding of prescribed drugs, to resolve or prevent drug- related problems and to assure optimal patient cooperation in drug therapy
• Document clinical activities as defined in the competency development framework and/or department guidelines
• Lead and/or serve on departmental and/or institutional clinical practice committees and/or other relevant committees as assigned

  Plan and contribute to the development or publication of high quality patient education materials and articles targeted at general professional education
  Lead the development and implementation of pharmacy professional standards, competency framework and/or assessments for future clinical pharmacists for this ACP telehealth service

• ResearchLead, initiate and participate in clinical research independently or in collaboration with other health care disciplines
  Publish scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and/or present findings at key local or overseas scientific meetings
  

Secondary Duties (10%)

• Lead and contribute to the review and evaluation of services, policies and processes, and identify and implement medication safety and quality improvements initiatives to ensure optimal outcomes under NUHS@Home
• Participates in and/or undertakes responsibility for projects and activities which supports the goals of the department and organisation at department or institution level

Requirements

• Possess MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) or Pharm D or Board Certification
• Completion of a Collaborative Prescribing Course within last 2 years
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical experience (ideally in inpatient care)
• Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Possess extensive and current knowledge of pharmaceuticals, clinical practice guidelines and protocols
• Possess strong leadership qualities
• Possess good supervisory, negotiation and managerial skills
• Excellent clinical pharmacy and evidence-based medicine knowledge and skills
• Excellent clinical problem solving, judgment and decision making skills
• Excellent knowledge of drug information research tools, clinical research methodologies and outcomes evaluation
• Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients, and work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team. Ability to speak in a second language in addition to English will be helpful.
