About the Role

The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia-Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams.

Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer-reviewed publications. These deliverables are used directly by our clients in communication with external stakeholders instrumental to the successful uptake of novel therapies. • Market Access: Market access supports timely patient access to drugs and devices, involving the assessment of clinical efficacy and safety alongside costs to determine the value of a therapy within a specific disease area. Market access activities are targeted at a wide range of stakeholders who are instrumental to the successful funding and uptake of novel therapies, such as government bodies, payers, health technology appraisal (HTA) agencies, HCPs, and patients. Overview of Desk Quant Analyst Position:

• Maintain and upgrade the codebase and configuration of strategies within the firm’s automated trading framework.
• Manage large datasets used in both research and production environments.
• Perform live as well as historical monitoring of trading activities. For instance, do some post-trade analysis or production reconciliation.
• Work in close collaboration with quant researchers and traders to understand the constantly evolving needs of the trading desks.

Typical Day of Desk Quant Analyst:

• Before market open, check that all required data and related processes are ready for the trading day.
• During market hours, sporadically monitor behavior and performance of strategies.
• Work on various longer-term projects required for expanding our systematic trading activities and ensuring their robustness.

Skill Set Required For Position:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical subject.
• Programming proficiency with at least one major programming or scripting language (e.g. C++, Java, Python).
• Great attention to details.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with colleagues across multiple regions.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sr degree in Accountancy from a reputable institution
• 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Job Descriptions:

• Preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation reports, analysis, and management reports.
• Prepare and evaluate the financial performance of a company and provide suggestions and recommendations based on the financial reports prepared to improve financial performance
• Responsible for treasury functions such as monitoring of cash balances at each legal entity & processing of payments & receipts.
• Prepare monthly forecast reports and analysis
• Assist in preparation of the yearly Budget
• Liaise with external & internal auditors.
• Work closely with in-house legal team and corporate secretary to ensure timely & accurate preparation & filing of legal documents.
• Participate in multiple projects, and handle ad hoc duties as & when required.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls & procedures.
• Manage & prioritize tasks, problem solve issues & work efficiently with other departments & business entities.
