2. Must have good working hands-on experience in data querying (SQL and such) and handling of data schemas and data wrangling.

Works in close collaboration with various Workstreams, UX Designer and Tech counterparts to elicit business requirements, supports the design and conceptualization of new requirements and visualisation, analyse all possible scenarios, and articulates impacts and risks, as identified, ensure consistent use and implementation of processes.
4. Review requirements to ensure alignment to design principles and information architecture.
5. Attend to user stories/requirements and work with Tech partners on solutioning and implementation based on prioritisation.
6. Join regular scrum meetings and user stories grooming sessions to ensure that enhancements are delivered accordance to business requirements/solutions and is within budget and timelines.
7. Review solution proposal from Tech team and provide effective challenge and counter proposal
8. Evaluate existing BAU process and identify areas that need improvement and propose options as solutions
9. Familiarity with Risk data and good knowledge of data discovery and lineage between data tables in ADA will be a plus
10. Maintain robust communication among all the stakeholders to ensure proper coordination and delivery of tasks and activities
11. Maintains all required documentation related to data flow, the design and process changes to a high standard for audit readiness
12. Adept at juggling between tight timelines, limited resources, and multiple deliverables. Able to anticipate needs and problems to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects and initiatives
13. Participate in various workshops from BU initiatives
14. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

The IT Business Analyst at Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) will support and enhance LLI’s IT systems by collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify business needs, design system improvements, and ensure smooth project delivery.

The role focuses on managing the intranet system, improving procurement processes, and facilitating system automation to optimise LLI’s operations.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Collaborate with vendors and business users to manage and maintain the LLI intranet system
• Analyse and document business requirements, specifically for procurement processes, and translate them into system design specifications
• Work closely with the procurement team to identify system improvements and automation opportunities to streamline operations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop detailed documentation to support system improvements
• Analyse current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements for greater efficiency and system optimisation
• Collaborate with IT teams to design technical solutions that align with LLI’s business objectives

Project Management

• Assist in project planning and tracking, ensuring milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with business goals and manage any risks or roadblocks that arise during the project lifecycle
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure that the solutions implemented meet business requirements

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Agile or PMI-PBA certifications are a plus
• 2-4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience working with a System Integrator (SI) or IT services company, with strong vendor management skills
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), ITIL frameworks, and basic networking
• Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, MS Intune, MS Purview) and experience with Windows systems
• Familiarity with SharePoint portal user permissions and content management is an advantage
• Understanding of procurement processes and ERP systems is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of industry regulations such as GDPR, PDPA and ISO 27001 is preferred
