Job Description:

• Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and channels.
• Identify and canvass new sales opportunities and market through prospecting.
• Develop and plan sales strategies to meet monthly sales targets and progressive KPIs.
• Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets customers’ expectation.
• Work closely with General Manager to develop and implement sales and service strategies to achieve committed sales target.
• Work closely within Sales Department to manage and expand existing business and contribute to meet sales KPI.
• Travelling to be expected.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical or Mechatronics field.
• Have a strong and successful sales experience for more than 5 years in marine industry.
• Positive working attitude and self-motivated.
• Preferred who are familiar with 2-Stroke & 4-Stroke Engines, Engine Components MRO.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure and liaise with Government body regarding payment, insurance and licensing as well as follow up with Government Related Emails
• Ensure that Development and Building Works are reported and within budget
• Jot down meeting minutes of development and building works and ensure on time project completion
• Track and liaise with various section and finance for Capex proposal / activation
• Prepare, update and assists for ABMS Audit
• Track and record Seciton Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP)
• Liaise with Engineers for monthly schedule maintenance
• Report any absence of schedule maintenance program
• Ensure and monitor the section systems are running and updated
• Assists the Managers with data and systems tracking
• Assist the section with Sustainability and Innovation reports
• Gather ideas and data from engineers for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing equipment/processes performance is meeting its targets through effective implementation of Preventive Maintenance and Improvement Initiatives.
• Resolve equipment/process issues timely and effectively within acceptable cost.
• Manage, implement, and support Projects (VS, CAR, Global) while meeting Time, Cost and Performance targets.
• Manage Variable Expense of the area while delivering the Safety, Quality & Productivity targets.
• Initiate & implement continuous improvement ideas to improve equipment performance.
• Manage, Engage and Develop team members through regular coaching and training.
• Ensure correct spare parts are always readily available.
• Ensure Preventive maintenance execution is done as per established PM program. Make the PM program evergreen by updating and improving based on the equipment’s maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate and support cross-functional teams within and outside of Value Stream.

Knowledge and Experience in:

• Maintenance Systems (SAP)
• Drafting & Design (AutoCad, Inventor)
• Communication Skills – oral & written.
• Leadership skills

• Lead a team of mechanics in the repaif of MAN engines
• Trouble shoot and advice on electrical /mechanical systems problems and carry out triuble shooting on engine problems
• Assist the Service Manager / Asst Manager- Repaid in coordinating subcontractors of mechanical / electrical works
• Advise customers on the service, maintenance and repair of engines and ship system affecting the engine
• Answer all technical enquiries from customers as assigned by the Service Manager / Asst Manager-repair
• Carry out any other work as directed by the Service Manager/ Asst Manager - repair
