Purpose and Scope

You will provide mechanical maintenance works to support the operations of the Energy from Waste plant.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources
• Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
• Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives viz predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure
• Review budget, monitor spending against budget. control cost
• Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walkdowns, implement safety initiatives, and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution
• Ensure that maintenance works, and plant equipment comply with Statutory Requirements
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Power Plant environment or oil & gas industry
• Organized and detail oriented
• Good Team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Proactive in keeping up with new technologies and looking for solutions to optimize plant operations
• Independent with initiatives, resourceful and positive altitude
• Possess good leadership skills

• Prepare a wide range of engineering related documents such as plot plans, Key plan
• Extraction of Piping layout and Piping General Arrangement from AVEVA
• Extraction of Isometric drawing with MTO and Line list
• Data consistency and Clash checking in AVEVA
• Prepare support drawings
• Checking the piping and other discipline documents as per shipyard payment
• Perform 3D Modelling of Electrical equipment and cable tray/ladder, supports and instruments in AVEVA
• Preparation of 2D deliverables (lighting layout, wiring diagram, equipment layout, interconnection diagram, cable tray/ladder layout, cable tray/ladder fill report and MCT layout)

Milestone 1. To provide technical expertise and solution consultancy for system migration on AFE systems such as Radio Switch, Radio integration, Mux deployment, Power system and deep knowledge on Gov comms operation routine and setup. Scopes Include and not limited to sites surveys, working out ICIT solutions and console placement.

Milestone 2. To supervise installation and setup in accordance to ICIT design. Ensure installation is carried out with minimum operations impact.

Milestone 3. To conduct system testing and assist system acceptance test with end user.

Milestone 4. To provide info and assist in completing Installation control documents and acceptance test plan.

Contract: 1 Year, potentially extendable

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in dealing with AFE system.

2. Proven ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate technical solutions.

3. Strong communication skills to explain technical concept to our customers.
