Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fire protection team.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
• Develop and implement fire protection strategies, standards, and policies in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors to develop fire protection plans that meet project requirements.
• Ensure that all fire protection systems within the facilities are in good working condition, and perform regular inspections and testing to
• ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Develop and implement fire safety training programs for facility staff and workers.
• Stay current with developments in fire protection systems, codes, and standards and ensure that the team is up-to-date on best practices
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
• Develop and monitor budgets and provide regular reports to the Manager of Facilities Management.
• Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Liaise with and coordinate with the clients.
• Attend meetings when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Mgmt, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 5 or 3 years in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards will be added credit.
• Experience managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop creative solutions.
• Having LTA /Tunnel experiences will be an added advantage

• Support and provide mechanical engineering design.
• Handle design works and project management relevant to ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary, and Plumbing.

Job Description

• Support R&D efforts
• Support system audit and certification
• Support operations of systems and production
• Support the controlled tests on various feed stock types
• Perform studies on outputs by systems – i.e. quality of syngas and biochar, energy regeneration etc.
• Aid in system design and optimization, check the compliance with local and international regulations
• Participate in Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) in all system implementations
• Support in writing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and operation manuals

Requirements
