We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workplace Services Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the workplace technology and facilities that enable employees to work efficiently in a modern, flexible, and collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that workplace services and systems are operational, secure, and aligned with business needs.
· Technology Infrastructure Support: Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure for offices, including hardware (printers, monitors, workstations), software, video conferencing tools, and AV systems.
· Service Desk Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee support issues related to IT and workplace services, providing troubleshooting and guidance as needed.
· Collaboration Tools: Support and enhance collaborative tools such as video conferencing systems, messaging platforms (e.g., Teams), and other workplace applications.
· Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up and configure new employee workstations, ensuring access to necessary tools and software. Assist with the offboarding process by removing access and reclaiming equipment.
· Asset Management: Track and manage hardware and software inventories, keeping an up-to-date record of all workplace equipment.
· Vendor Coordination: Work with external service providers and vendors to ensure the timely resolution of issues and successful implementation of upgrades or new services.
· Space Planning: Collaborate with Facilities Management to plan and execute office layout changes, seating arrangements, and the setup of new office locations.
· Security: Ensure that all workplace systems adhere to company security protocols, including monitoring for vulnerabilities and implementing necessary patches or updates.
· Project Support: Participate in workplace technology and office infrastructure projects, helping with planning, coordination, and execution.
· 2-5 years of experience in workplace services, IT Support, or facilities management.
· Strong understanding of office infrastructure, IT systems, and workplace technologies.
· Experience with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams).
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and employees at all levels.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
