Senior/M&E Engineer (A1 main con, building projects)

Our client, a prominent A1 main contractor with an impressive portfolio of building and civil projects, is currently seeking Senior/M&E Engineers to join them for various building projects such as institutional, mixed development, commercial and residential projects, to support their ongoing contributions to Singapore’s iconic developments.

What you will do:

• Oversee and coordinate all M&E aspects of the project
• Responsible for monitoring consultants’ designs, including managing the drawing schedule, coordination & providing support in identifying any areas of improvement
• Work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure that project objectives and schedules are achieved timely and accurately
• Liaise with the BIM modeler/drafter regarding drawings preparation and provide technical expertise when necessary to ensure drawings are completed accurately
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in ensuring smooth project execution and resolve any technical issues that may arise.

What you will need:

• Minimum diploma/degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant M&E experience in the construction industry
• Candidates with strong experience with building projects with A1 main contractors are highly desirable

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the design and coordination of the structural aspects of our construction projects.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure that all structural elements are designed to meet project specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the design complies with all requirement
• Prepare and present technical engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for project designs.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, with at least 3 years in facilities/building maintenance.
• Proven leadership ability, with the skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.

• Class 3 driving license is advantageous.
