You will be responsible for driving forward projects that enhance the success of our trading platform. This could involve building new market gateways, enhancing risk controls, or experimenting with changes to trading strategies. You will own your projects from conception to deployment and collaborate closely with various departments across the organization. You will see the impact of your work every day.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of the design, development, and deployment of services that constitute our globally distributed trading platform.
• Cultivating strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure we incorporate the best ideas into our solutions.
• Managing deployments to minimize risk and providing production support as necessary.
• Upholding quality standards across our systems, including conducting code reviews.
• Contributing to our ongoing pursuit of continuous improvement by offering feedback and innovative ideas to enhance our systems and controls.

WHO YOU ARE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer who possesses the following qualifications:

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including operating systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent proficiency in C++ programming.
• In-depth understanding of how technology solutions intersect with the quantitative trading industry, including trading systems and strategies, risk management, and regulatory requirements..
• Proven experience as a software engineer in architecting and implementing intricate, scalable systems.
• Expertise in providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, leading and delivering successful projects of outstanding results.
• Strong aptitude in effectively leading and developing a team, fostering their growth and maximizing their potential.

Responsibilities:

• Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure
• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey them to developers
• Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Test and examine codes and analyzing results
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes
• Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and guidelines
• Involve in project management decisions and Planning of projects

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Proficiency in Gitlab, Confluence workflow, Ansible, Terraform
• Knowledge of Ruby or Python
• Experience in databases and SQL
