Located in Tuas, We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to oversee and manage a full set of accounting operations. This includes handling invoices, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledgers, and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures. Experience in industries that require inventory management is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment and collection.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations for all accounting entries.
• Support inventory management processes and reconcile inventory accounts when necessary.
• Collaborate with auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
• Perform miscellaneous accounting duties to support the overall finance and accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in accounting software and solid knowledge of full set accounting practices.
• Prior experience in a similar role, with an added advantage for candidates experienced in inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Working location: No 6 Tuas Avenue 6 (Transport provided from Jurong East MRT)

1. Ensures that all staff are properly train and all have tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.

2. Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.

3. Cooks or directly supervises the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.

4. Establishes and maintains regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.

5. Maintain close control over store supply of all the kitchens, ensuring adequate inventories of food items, and recipes/costing are established and updated.

6. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Your Impact

You will work with Clients, Partners and Project Teams to ensure that Customer / Vendor invoices are properly booked, payments are made/accounted for and financial accuracy and transparency are retained. You will work on optimizing the processes and systems to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of accounting processing as well as management information systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Account Receivable: Create Customer Invoices and follow up on payments
• Account Payable: Review, book and prioritize vendor/partner invoices & payments
• Balance Sheets: Book & Monitor Balance sheet items like Accruals, Assets Ledgers, Loans
• Controlling: Monitor the integrity of financial statements and annotate developments
• Procurement: Identify partners and commercial models
• Administration: Support Management & Project team with administrative tasks

• Responsible for inventory control accuracy, stock replenishment, capacity planning, timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities

• Manage warehouse operations while supervising a team of warehouse personnel
• Daily planning and control of inventories and warehouse space
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend for improvement
• Conduct analysis of errors made in warehouse operations and identify root causes

• Demonstrate full understanding of safe work practices and procedures
• Candidate must be able to withstand temperatures as low as -18 degrees Celsius when going in and out of the warehouse to resolve issues when required

Work Location: 5 Senoko Road

5.5 days workweek (pls specify your preferred shift(s) in your resume)

Work Timing: Monday to Fri 8am to 5pm, Sat 8am to 12pm

OR

Work Timing: Mon to Sun, 5 days workweek 9pm to 7 am

(1 Rest Day and 1 Off Day on any day of week based on roster assigned)

As one of the largest cold room storage facilities still undergoing testing, this role may require you to work overtime as needed until stability is achieved between the system and the warehouse.
