We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Trade Finance Senior Assistant / Officer to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our trade finance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade finance principles and practices, coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle timely submission of trade documentation, ensuring compliance with import Letter of Credit (LC) requirements.
• Monitor and ensure timely payment of import bills
• Perform data entry, filing, and prepare payments for LC advising charges.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Liaise effectively with banks and business units to facilitate smooth trade documentation processing.
• Coordinate bank queries related to compliance and resolve discrepancies with business units.
• Analyse current trade flow processes and internal payment systems to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.

Other Specifications:

• Diploma in Banking or Finance related disciplines
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of trade finance principles, including Letters of Credit, UCP 600, and Incoterms.
• Proven experience in handling import and export documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing operational support to clients, and to site team.
• To assist the Reporting Officer in the operation and administrative works:
• Updating work schedule;
• Renewal of licenses with government and statutory board;
• Process enquiries/ feedback and remain highly contactable for clients.
• Defect list and fixing date of inspection and closing summary of defect list and appointment dates.
• Process security pass, access card/carpark, bicycle label.

• Plan and assign equipment operators for aircraft pushback/towing, water/toilet servicing and supply of GSE equipment.
• Liaise with IGO/Maintrol/CEG for aircraft towing and other utilities servicing activities.
