• Assist to resolve all site issues, including coordination with adjacent/ nearby construction sites and report to the supervising Qualified Persons
• Assist in the review of Contractor’s proposed method statement and working procedure and to verify that they are properly executed on site.
• Assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE to verify all variations carried on site.
• Provide full support and assistance to the Superintending Officer
• Keep track of requests, verify and measure variation works, provisional quantities, optional items, etc.
• Check the works carried out by Contractor against all drawings and specifications
• Keep and review records of works including materials, samples, site equipment, inspections, test reports, and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner and inspect completed works and report on defects.
• Assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE to prepare site instruction to the Contractor as well as list of defects of any completed works, check on quality of materials
• Monitor site progress and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimally a Diploma in any construction-related field from any local or foreign polytechnic.
• The candidate must be a registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA.
• At least two (2) years site supervisory experience in reclamation related projects.
• A minimum of five (5) years of marine related projects or other related working experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Must be literate in English and have adequate knowledge to use computer, reply to emails, use computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
• At least two (2) years site supervisory experience in land-based construction related projects for projects that require land-based supervision works.

Job Description

The job involves the supervision of large civil and infrastructure projects such as the Cross Island Line and supervision of production for precast elements for super structures in HDB projects.

We have openings for the position of Resident Technical Officer, RTO, for both Station and Bored Tunnel Works.

For RTO Tunnel, the candidate shall have minimum eight (8) years of relevant experiencein projects similar in nature to the Works in the Civil Contracts. For RTO Station, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supervision deep excavation/basement works.

Shift Works are required.

MRT Project experience will be an advantage.

All RTO shall have a diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent and be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

The RTO (Tunnel) shall also be accredited as Resident

Technical Officer (RTO) (Tunnel) under IES/ACES

We are now looking for a Patient Service Officer/Healthcare Assistant to be part of the following teams.

1. Migrant Worker Clinic (9am to 6pm on Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm on Saturday).
2. Urgent Care (night) Clinic (6pm to 12mn Monday to Friday. 1pm to 12midnight on Weekends, and/or Public Holidays).

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:

• Perform registration: key in patients’ data and register in the system.
• Patient care support, such as taking of vital signs.
• Follow up with doctors or clinic staff on completing the information required.
• Assist doctor during consultation.
• Booking of appointment in the system.
• Alert and rectify duplicate patients’ records in the system.
• Collect deposit if required.
• Handle billing, collection of payment (cash, NETS, credit cards, cheques) with integrity and accuracy.
• Generate bill estimation form. Assist in financial counselling when required.
• Advise patients on Medisave / medishield / private shield / corporate guarantees and to obtain signatures on the relevant forms.
• Perform daily closing of collections and alert superiors on discrepancies if any.

Requirements

• Has 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry
• Experience in clinical duties such as taking of blood samples, recording vital signs reading and etc. will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

• Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards

• Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately

• Implement procedures for security and emergency incidents

• In the event of fire, be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the hotel’s emergency plan

• Be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment

• Conduct random checks of key registers in telephone room, banqueting, engineering, stewarding and housekeeping to ensure the hotel’s key control policy is adhered to and report on discrepancies

• Ensure checks are conducted on fire panel, fire hose real outlets and fire barriers and all other safety equipment and ensure that all are in good working order and report to the Safety Manager any item of equipment which is faulty

• Ensure hotel alarm system is in good working order

• Maintain a good working knowledge of the following:

o The hotel switchboard and paying system

o The control points and the working of the hotel’s gas and air conditioning system

o The hotel’s fire indicator board, fire wardens telephones and public address system

• Maintain a daily log of incidents

• Carry out monthly fire inspections

• Maintain a good knowledge of the liquor act and criminal code

• Prevent gambling on hotel premises

• Prevent Sabotage of hotel premises

• Ensure all outlets, fridges, cupboards etc are fully secured when not in use or unattended

• Ensure no undesirables loiter in or around the hotel premises

• Ensure there is no obstruction to the loading dock and that unauthorized vehicles are removed

• Coordinate functions with other security staff or Police and other government Securities and promote good will with them

• Be correct, secure and courteous in handling any disciplinary or criminal case

• Ensure that the safety control office is never left unattended
