About the role

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications

• Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies to support business objectives and enhance the organization’s public image.
• Lead and manage media relations efforts, including drafting press releases, speech writing, and responding to media inquiries.
• Handle issues management effectively, ensuring clear, timely, and impactful communication during crises.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce clear, factual, and relevant written materials, including speeches, reports, and presentations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring delivery within stipulated objectives and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, senior management, and external stakeholders, including the media, to foster positive outcomes.
• Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline communication processes and ensure efficient project management.

Skills and experience required

• Proven track record of successfully leading projects and achieving communication objectives.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including speech writing, with a passion for crafting impactful messages.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Job Duties

• Maintain peace and order within the Hotel premise and to provide safety and security to Hotel guests, patrons, employees and their belongings, and the Hotel’s properties.
• Ensure no break-in and intrusion in secured and protected areas.
• Perform patrolling round in all areas of the Hotel premise.
• Conduct investigations on incidents involving disturbance, accidents, losses, thefts, etc. occurring in the Hotel.
• Report all matters that are harmful to the Hotel business eg pimping, prostitution, gambling and touting syndicates, internal collusion and theft, dishonesty, etc.
• Be familiar with the fire emergency plan. Take necessary action whenever the fire alarm is activated.
• Keep proper and updated records/entries in relevant security logs and records.
• Ensure smooth flow of traffic in the Hotel's car park, frontage and its vicinity.

Roles and Responsibility

• To perform 12hrs shift duties at any deployed sites
• To perform safe entry for staffs, workers, visitors and contractors
• To safe guard the premises through surveillance and patrols
• Identify and report unusual or suspicious movements in occurrence
• Perform access control duties at the check-point
• To monitor CCTV surveillance when required
• To update and report any fire alarm activation

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• ‘N’ Level or ‘O’ Level
• 1 year working experience

Job Description & Requirements

Maintenance and Support Services for Client’s Systems.

These include, but not limited to, the following services:

- To co-ordinate and manage maintenance activities arising during duty.

- To perform Defect Management and reporting for the maintenance equipment.

- To oversee the completion of maintenance & repair work performed by the client-appointed maintenance contractors at the client’s system sites, for both corrective and preventive maintenance.

- To coordinate repair/maintenance activities, resources, equipment and information with client-appointed maintenance contractors, including arranging for preventive and corrective maintenance.

- To perform standby duty at client’s operations centres for immediate response to systems fault, and to conduct system health monitoring and daily checks.

- To perform rotating shift (12 hours),

- To attend to faults raised by ops users and provide technical support to ops users, keeping them updated on the status of the faults raised.

- To monitor and report all the faults, alarms and alerts of the electronics equipment & related systems to client appointed maintenance contractor.

- To support client in managing maintenance-related information.

Working Hours (including meal hours) rotating as per planned roster by PM

- 12-hr Day shift – 0900 – 2130hrs

- 12-hr Night shift –2100 – 0930hrs (next day)

• Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
• Ensure all information pertaining to reservations is properly entered into the system on a timely manner.
• Assist to check on room availability.
• Process and monitor advance deposits/prepayment on reservations.
• Prepare invoices and sending confirmation details to customers.
• Help to maximise room sales by up-selling.
• Manage group reservation and rooming list.
• Other ad hoc duties/projects assigned by the Manager

Job requirements:

• Attained minimum NITEC or higher qualification.
• Preferably have working experiences in the hospitality or travel industry.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and time-management, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
