We are hiring a Project Officer to support the research related work for engineering research project titled: Harnessing Randomness and Chaos in Complex Disordered Photonic Systems - WP3 Miniaturized disorder-scattering based spectrometer in the mid-infrared and Terahertz.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Officer will work on engineering based research projects. The roles of this position include:
- System integration for the spectrometer and imaging systems
- Build up optical characterization setup and perform device characterization
- Perform the measurement of optoelectronic device
- Prepare research project reports.
- Prepare research materials/equipment purchase requisition.
- Collect and analyze research data.
- Other ad hoc duties pertaining to the research project.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Electronic Science and Technology, Optical Engineering, or other related Engineering background.
- Preferred to have more than two-years of relevant research experience.
- A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated and good tasks initiative.
- Strong command of office software such as Excel, power point, word etc. and be capable to plot complicated data into graphs.
- Strong team-work spirit.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
