• Provide enforcement support for Workplace Safety & Health (WSH).
• Identify and assess potential risks arising from workplace conditions or work processes.
• Ensure all work practices comply with the company’s safety policies and the WSH Act.
• Advise on work plans, Risk Assessments, and safe work procedures.
• Recommend and take reasonable and practical actions to eliminate foreseeable risks to individuals at the workplace.
• Inspect and assess machinery, equipment, plants, installations, and other articles in the workplace.
• Organize safety and health awareness programs for the site.
• Compile relevant reports and records and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Conduct site safety and health audits.
• Organize and lead site safety and health meetings, preparing reports for relevant parties.
• Prepare hazard analysis reports.
• Develop and implement safety and health management programs, ensuring their effectiveness.
• Inspect and review workplace records, certificates, notices, and documents as required under the WSHA.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a WSHO, preferably in LTA and tunneling projects.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Screen individuals, staff, and vehicles entering the premises, and conduct property checks to ensure safety.
• Patrol various areas to prevent theft and monitor for signs of fire, smoke, or leaks, ensuring all security systems and exits are functioning and secure.
• Control access by managing entry and exit points, conducting ID checks, and authorizing visitor and staff access.
• Respond quickly to alarms, fire incidents, and emergencies, including medical, criminal, and public order situations.
• Maintain detailed records of access and incidents, manage vehicle parking, and ensure all areas, including loading bays, are secured when not in use.
