As a Resident Technical Officer (RTO), you will assist in supervising the construction of civil and structural works. You will ensure that all activities comply with project specifications and Building Control regulations, supporting the efficient execution of construction tasks.

Sunday Bedding is seeking a Warehouse & Operations Officer to support our team in ensuring a smooth execution of logistics and warehouse operations. This role requires expertise in processing orders, packing stocks, managing housekeeping of the warehouse and maintaining accurate records of inventory.

• Process customers’ orders including picking, packing, arranging parcel collection
• Packing stocks for our retail outlets, pop ups, stockists
• Receive shipment, unpacking and arranging stocks at the warehouse
• Set up stocks for pop ups according to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Support product photoshoot’s operations, including setting up, steam-ironing of sheets
• Manage housekeeping of the warehouse ensuring there’s enough space for current and incoming stocks, organize space for efficient workflow
• Conduct stock count at the warehouse
• Support retail staff as and when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making and business growth.

• Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on the financial implications of business activities and potential risks.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements in compliance with SGX reporting requirements.

• Maintain full compliance with relevant accounting standards, corporate governance, and statutory regulations.

• Oversee the internal control framework to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.

• Lead interactions with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and credibility.

3. Investor Relations:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and key stakeholders.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations program to enhance market perception and maintain shareholder confidence.

• Prepare financial disclosures, press releases, and presentations for investor meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

4. Budgeting & Financial Planning:

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives.

• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and identify areas for operational improvement.

• Manage liquidity and capital resources to ensure the company's financial stability.

5. Risk Management:

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company's operations or reputation.

• Develop and maintain a robust enterprise risk management framework.

• Ensure optimal insurance coverage and safeguard the company against unforeseen financial exposures.

6. Leadership & Team Development:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational goals.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the finance department.

• Drive talent development initiatives to build future financial leaders within the organization.

7. Mergers, Acquisitions & Capital Markets:

• Assess and execute strategic investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

• Oversee capital-raising activities, including equity, debt, and other funding mechanisms.

• Provide financial due diligence and integration support for corporate transactions.

Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Experience:

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent capacity for a listed company.

• Proven expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and investor relations.

• Significant experience with SGX reporting requirements and listed-company operations.

Technical Skills:

• Exceptional knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance practices.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, strategic planning, and risk management.

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools.

• Full-time executive role with significant responsibility, including travel as required and extended hours during critical reporting periods.

Duties

Provide general administrative support to the school's management, teachers and students on a daily basis, which may include but not restricted to:

1. Handle phone and walk-in enquiries;
2. Support in the logistics for school activities and events such as Parent Teacher Meetings, uniform sales;
3. Support and manage administrative duties for teachers such as recording and distributing mail/ documents, collating and printing of examination, remedial, focus and placement test papers, distributing and collecting circulars and worksheets, preparing teacher record books;
4. Support and manage administrative duties for students such as preparing student dossiers and student grade books;
5. Record and coordinate defects for Estate department’s action;
6. Assist with the attendance for temperature taking and emergency/ haze-related/ COVID exercises;
7. Ensure fresh supplies of first aid items;
8. Collate and assist with administering surveys for the Parent Teacher Meetings, January Induction Programme, Community Education, Gifted Education Programme, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel) and able to present information for management reporting
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of accuracy and eye for details
• Clear and logical thinking with good organisation and planning skills
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently on tight deadlines and under pressure
• Good customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate professional yet friendly working relationships with staff and vendors

• To provide an independent credit opinion on the credit applications submitted by the business unit
• To ensure compliance of credit applications to Regulations, Credit Policy Principles, General Underwriting Standards, etc.
• To review the credit and to make recommendations to aid the credit decision-making process.
