We have a Practice Manager vacancy at Island Veterinary Clinic!

A Practice Manager position has just opened at Island Veterinary Clinic, an established first opinion small animal practice that prides itself on providing a personable experience for clients and their pets. This is a leadership role, focused on People Management, Clinic Operations, Administration and Business Performance.

Our clinic is spacious and comfortable, and we serve a loyal and affable clientele. The successful candidate will lead a team of veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure the practice meets all operational and quality standards while delivering the highest level of customer service to clients and their pets.

S/he partners closely with the Practice Director to operate an effective and productive clinic team, ensures a safe and engaging clinic environment, and improve both the medical quality and business performance of the clinic.

The scope of this role covers but not limited to:

· Oversee the daily operations including reception, billing, scheduling, and medical records;

· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures;

· Maintain financial records and ensure compliance to applicable laws and regulations;

· Monitor and review staff performance and provide feedback and coaching;

· Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff;

· Responsible for the maintenance of all necessary veterinary equipment;

· Schedule and organize veterinary appointments;

· Manage client complaints and inquiries;

· Monitor and maintain inventory movement and ordering.

Do you possess the following:

· Minimally 5 years of work experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.);

· Direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.) required leading a team of over 10 team members;

· Clinic experience and/or previous experience as a Practice Manager in veterinary medicine preferred;

· Independent, self-motivated, capable to meet tight timelines;

· Attention to details and accuracy with strong sense of urgency;

· Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure;

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
